You just ruined my day....

In all seriousness, you got yourselves a heckuva player. You're going to have a ton of versatility in your secondary.

Yes, you still need a DL...but as you said, "Who was there?" It's unfortunate for you all that your owner is not too bright. Instead of being able to try to be in position to couple Landry with a guy like Spencer, you can't.

That's why it's so important to not trade away so many picks.

Yup . . . .

The only way the Skins and address their DL at this stage is to give away next year's draft picks. :)

I can't see the Skins DL being much improved this coming season. :D
And that's where it all starts . . . .

I think the ideal option here was to trade down. But with AP and BC still on the board, I just dont think the offers were great enough for a move from 6 to 9, or other move.

While a dlineman would have been a nice addition to a depleted line, I would much rather draft BPA then stretch for someone, thats how busts happen.

I agree....you can't reach for a need. That's how you draft David LaFluer.

Good move in drafting Landry.

Bad move with your owner frittering away premium picks for one and done players.

A second and third round pick could've been packaged to try to take Spencer, Moss, Branch, etc.....

Willis, Okoye or Branch are not reaches.

well, and the sad thing is, this class actually is pretty deep at lineman. If we actually had picks, we would be able to get some very promising talent in the second, and the Landry pick actually could have been seen as a luxary.

Exactly. Just look at how many holes we need to fill, and how we will actually be able to fill. hopefully this will serve as a lesson for our front office, but im not holding my breath

I can't believe I'm saying this......But.....

This is a step in the right direction....you build one unit at a time.

:hammer:

And even if it were a "reach" the Ted Ginn pick would have absolved you of any ridicule. THAT is a reach.
