What happen after the Commanders game, we beat NYJ and GB to a pulp. Games like this happen. Now if it happens 2 or 3 weeks in a row then maybe we have something to be concerned about. Remember this coaching staff is
12-1this year!;)

What games were you watching? Beat them to a pulp? Hardly. We won handily, but if there are a few different plays in those games we could have possibly lost.

as is the story with every game in the NFL every week.

I thought the offensive gameplan was really vanilla. I also though know that Detroit had a great tackling day. There D played very well, but as pointed out there was no real effort to get TO the ball. He's the big play guy on this team. I think the coaching staff just felt they could win without showing wrinkles. They did though it was an ugly win.

I don't think our defensive was purposefully avoiding putting pressure on Kitna. We just couldn't do it. Normally, our front can put pressure on them while our secondary plays zone. We were blitzing but they were picking it up most of the time. The problem in my opinion is that we didn't adjust. We should have changed our coverage and played more bump n run instead of allowing their receivers to go all over the place.

I don't really fault the defensive coaching staff very much though. Detroit decided to totally depart from their usual offense. I haven't looked it up but I'd imagine this was the most rushes by Detroit all year by a wide margin. They decided to do things that Dallas had never seen them do. Very similar to how Washington's game plan was throwing the ball all over the place when they're a run based team, sometimes teams do things that are unfamilar.

In the same note though, Dallas has won every game that teams made an abrupt departure from their previous MO.

I'm not sure what game you were watching, the defense blitzed and stunted quite a bit. Detroit used a lot of max protect and the defense couldn't penetrate. It also didn't help that the tackling was horrible as well.

As far as the offense goes, we had virtually no problem moving the ball so I have a hard time faulting the gameplan. The main problem was the defense couldn't get Detroit off the field.

yep they pretty much converted when they wanted to. The D holding them to feild goals was very key.

Sometimes I wonder if perhaps the coaching staff is preparing ahead now for the playoffs and adding some surprises/wrinkles to be saved for the playoffs ONLY.

You were 11-1 going into today...why show the enemy more then they need to see going into the playoffs?

Jason Garrett is no dummy. He's the best offensive gameplanner in the NFL IMO. Phillips is no slouch either. I wouldn't worry about your coaching when it comes to preparation for the big games. Just look at how you performed against GB and the Giants.

AARGHH.....Hate to admit it,but the 'Skins fan.....:hammer:

And,oh...by the way........:suxskins: :skins: :skins: :skins:
