Please explain to us how leading the NFL in INTs despite missing 5 games HELPS the defense.

Educate us on what we're missing here.

Doesn't help the defense. But stop making excuses for the defenses poor performances in the later half of the season and acting like it's solely due to turnovers and short fields. Short fields don't equal to or explain 500 yards be given up against the Jaguars or Minshew having nearly 400 passing yards against them. Like I said NFL GMs should be seeing the same things some on this board claims to see, which is that Cooper Rush (all by himself and his presence) has the ability to make defenses play lights out and perform at a high level. That and the 5-1 some solely contribute to him should be enough for teams and GMs to line up for him to be their starter this off season.

"Your sick obessesion with Dak" says the poster that loves Dak to the poster that wants Dak off the team.

Makes sense.

The sick obsession with Dak is really from the ones that would prefer this team fail with him instead of move on and get improve.
I’d have zero issue moving on from dak if there was zero doubt about an upgrade. It’s easier said than done and where the franchise is with contracts and players - doing it via the draft is too much of a crap shoot.

Dak is what he is. He’s not as good as those who love him say he is and he’s nowhere near as bad as people like you say he is. The truth is somewhere in the middle. He’s certainly not this super elite quarterback but he’s also not this bum that you weirdly obsess and say that he is.

You have multiple threads about him started…that’s weird. I mean you can argue you all you want but it’s really creepy

I'm not making excuses for bad defensive play.

I'm saying that when your QB missed 5 games and still leads the NFL in INTS then it hurts the defense too.

I bet you're one of those fans that ignore Dak's pick 6's and adds them the PPG the defensive gives up too, right?

Also this idea about "a better defense" with Rush is completely bogus, because nobody takes into account TOs as it relates to the defense giving Dak all these opportunities. Dak didn't win a single game last year when the defense didn't produce a TO, meaning 0-3 and Rush beat the Vikings last year with no TOs generated by the defense while throwing for 341 passing yards. Dak's defense has generated TO advantages all the time.

Dak's TOs also create pressure on the defense.

Even then, Rush is a career backup that has limited arm strength, so these Dak fanboys seeking validation against Rush, making all sorts of excuses for the wins, is comical.

By your theory the Chiefs should have said "Ya know! Alex Smith gets us to the playoffs so why should we trade up and draft Mahomes? It's a crap shoot afterall".

You're not going to get Mahomes if you handcuff yourself to Alex Smith because it's more comfortable.

I don't ignore Dak's pick 6s and have criticized him when he has played badly. You on the other hand are giving Cooper Rush the sole credit for the Cowboys being 4-1 with him and are now even going as far as to praise him for how the defense played earlier in the season.

BTW, this whole "another Dak thread" coming from his fanboys is comical, since they never seem to have problems bringing up Moore or McCarthy or Jerry Jones or Zeke sucking countless times. Earlier this year it was Lamb not running the correct route, but the pick 6s continue. And now it's the WR can't create separation, when last year it was Amari giving up on plays and not the OL can't block because Steele is out. Anybody but Dak, but "we criticize him when he played badly"..... Sure you have...

And casual memory loss bias just to argue... is also pathetic.
He and a few others have been saying this nearly all season.
They didn't say anything...some went on hiatus until the pick 6 this week.

I never gave Cooper Rush sole credit. Stop it. You're being emotional about this.

I literally talked about teh talent on the teams in the OP being a factor.

If your team has enough talent to go 5-1 with Cooper Rush then your starting QB is simply not the difference maker he should be.
