Yes, easy part of schedule, but Dak played like crap against good teams and gave them no chance. He actually contributed to getting blown out so he was a big reason why they weren't competitive against good teams. Thar summarizes Dak as a player his entire career. He can't rise up against good teams and he is part of the problem they get crushed.
So he beat the Steelers at home but that’s not a good team? Or the Lions or Eagles or Rams last year? What defines a good team? Is it only when we lose?

You tried diminishing Rush’s wins for what reason?

That aside, this thread was showcasing what he has done here in his entire career, not just this season
To your first question I ask, you're trying to highlight Rush's wins for what reason?
To your second point, I respond by offering Dak's career win-loss record is 76-46. And?
Why are you showcasing Rush's career record when he really hasn't had much of a career and when three of the games he played this year were against the worst teams in the league and one against a divisional rival we always seem to beat?

He beat the Steelers with Fields. Dak didn't play well in that game. Eagles and Rams were playing like doodoo when they beat the. Lions game should have been a loss. Ref stole that one from them.

How did Dak play against GB last year, Baltimore, Saints, and Lions this year?

better results , 58 million discount .
The results have been due to a great running game. Much better defensive play and getting turnovers. We had none of the above with Dak. Dowdle has gone over 100 yards three straight games. Anyone who thinks we’ve improved because of Rush is completely lost.

What does Fields have to do with the Steelers defense? Were they not 4-1? And we won the game because of Dak. From him recovering the football when Dowdle fumbles or the game winning touchdown. It wasn’t pretty but it rarely is in Pittsburgh bad weather.

And to use your argument Ravens sucked when we played them so I guess that’s not a bad loss huh lol? This is just ridiculous. If you want to say Dak sucks or sucked this year fair. But be honest in the conversation is all I ask. The goal post is being pushed to hell

Dak is trending down while Rush is trending nowhere. Dak is/was better than Rush, no debate needed. All this proves is it is a team game and Dak didn’t need to be the highest paid player. That money could have been used on the defense and WR group while an average QB just drives the bus. It is a moot point now though…..

No disagreement from me. It was a damn good collective win. That’s why this thread confuses me. Coop played well and deserves to be recognized. This is a bait thread and not genuine don’t is what it is.
No need to be confused. In fact this game just showed how Dak is also nothing more than a bus driver. So if he can't bring anything on top of that, why even have him? In no division but the NFCE would Dak had as many wins. The play off games make that obvious.

This team is good for wins against bottom feeders without a great QB. Yet a great QB is needed to win against the contenders. And Dak had never been close to that level.

Every single game with Rush under center, win or loss, makes it obvious that this second big contract was a huge mistake.

Why are you continuously bringing up Dak in this thread?

Cooper has taken nonstop heat from a huge segment of this fanbase (we know why). There is a 20-page thread on the first page of this forum stating that hes not a good QB.

Well you pay Dak to play like he did last year. Not like he did this year. If he’s gonna play like he did this year it was a mistake for sure.

He’s taken heat because he sucks lol. Not because people dislike him lol. Today he was good. I haven’t seen anyone give him a hard time today. If he played like this consistently I think people would be fine with that.

He had a very solid game today but giving him credit for a win is diabolical.
I don't think anyone is saying Red Jr is the sole reason for the recent wins, but considering the massive pay difference between him and the guy he's backing up, success of the team as a whole is relevant. Granted, there have been some key pieces that came back from injury on defense, but the offense has operated more efficiently under Cooper. Not that it matters now, but this is something that should've been taken into consideration before breaking the bank for QB1.

Oh that’s for sure what people have been saying.

For the record I’d trust you to quarterback us against the Panthers. You don’t pay Dak to beat these type of games .

I'm saying Dak is an average QB, does not special. Can't pay an average QB $60M and expect to have a good team. He is the biggest fraud in the NFL and luckiest player in the history of the NFL to fall into the position, including having a idiot GM who gave him not one, but two franchise crippling contracts.

And no, Steelers were not 4-1 and I said Dak sucked against Ravens. He sucks against most good teams. Team gets the same results with Rush. Rush can put up some good garbage stats like Dak when the game is out of reach.
