The Cowboys are 8-4 when Cooper Rush starts at QB

I don’t mind throwing picks to make plays it’s these wierd and random fumbles he’s having. Guys rarely do that and for sure don’t do it twice in a game. He played well today. Anyone saying otherwise is lying to themselves. Well actually I’d say he has a great second half and probably the best of his season. But I can’t sit here and say he won today. Especially when Rico had 100 rushing yards and the defense had 6 sacks and 4 turnovers.
It's a team game. We try to put too much of the success or blame on the QB, when QBs like Rush remind us of how important the rest of the team is, whether it's the rushing attack or the defense getting six sacks and four turnovers.

No disagreement from me. It was a damn good collective win. That’s why this thread confuses me. Coop played well and deserves to be recognized. This is a bait thread and not genuine don’t is what it is.

Don't you think we win if not for touching the kick?
Maybe. It seems like if we hadn't touched the kick, we would have already been in Aubrey's range. So unless we made a mistake or different boneheaded play, it seems most likely that we would have won.

Ya, what's our record when our defense gets 4 turnovers....oops nm that hurts your narrative.
I swear Dak benefited from DQ's turnover causing defense the last 3 years. Rush is not very good, but he is good enough to keep the team competitive if the defense plays average. I'd rather pay Rush and use the money paid to Dak to upgrade every other position.

If #24 didn't do a Leon Lett against the Bengals then Rush would be 9-3 as the starter of the Dallas Cowboys.
#27, but exactly. One backup's brain fart away from .500 ball with all these injuries including the starting QB.

I love how we start running the ball wayyyy better and actually stick to the run once we start going with Rush at QB. I also liked that we stop with that running back by committee BS and just give the rock to Rico who we all knew was our best back. Not to mention our defense seem to be playing better. (Or is it just that we are playing bad teams now?)

It probably is, but I do think there are some fans who look at the team's record and equate that to QB play. I like what Rush does as a backup QB, but some perspective is needed.

It’s a combination of everything…..Bland and Micah were hurt, offensive line seems to be playing better without Martin….and these teams suck. This is the easy part of our schedule.

Bull ..... he was as healthy as he is ever gonna be again.
Maybe so and that isn't a good thing. My posts about Rush had nothing to do with Dak. In fact, I think that Dak is trending the wrong way because of health. He can't run and has no escape ability out of the pocket. The only way they can win with him is to have a dominant runner and a number 2 receiver.

Definitely would not want him as a starting quarterback. He just can’t make all the NFL pros that are necessary. But he’s definitely doing a good job as a back up. Great job no but good.

David Moore said Rush doesn't check out of runs as often as Dak does.

People underestimate how much Dak runs the show from the line.
I heard someone say he checks out of it and the offense isn’t good enough to do it. Which is why you see guys confused and pointing fingers at each other. It’s also why we stink against good defenses because you can’t just play vanilla and not opt out of plays against a stacked box.

I think it was mentioned by the announcers as well. Maybe something we need to adjust next year when Dak returns. Not all QBs are great at having all the decision-making power. I remember when we wanted to make Garrett's offense Romo-friendly by letting Romo call the shots. He did the same thing, checked out of runs to passes.
