gbrittain, I'm amazed and disgusted that so many Dallas fans won't hardly blink at whatever and whomever is added to the roster. The whole face of the game can change, the worst sportsman in the entire league who personally attacked the Cowboys can be on the team, and people act like they have no choice but to watch and show support for crybabies. The concept of teamwork and sportsmanship is rapidly departing from my favorite childhood team, and fan support seems to be as much as it ever was.
I'll tell you, it's not a brand of football I want my kids to grow up watching. I don't want them looking at that disgusting cancer self absorb the entire concept of team.

Maybe fans don't really understand what they're selling out to.
I dislike Owens with a passion, but it's not a sell-out to love your team no matter who is added to the roster.

Owens will be on the roster for x amount of time. It's not forever.

The Dallas Cowboys existed before Owens. The Dallas Cowboys exists now. The Dallas Cowboys will exist after Owens.

If you want to quit the Cowboys simply because of Owens, you, sir, are a quitter. Own up to it and move on.

bothers you sooo much but yet here you are still posting on a COWBOYS board :laugh2:

TO has done NOTHING wrong since he has been here yet you still cry like a fat girl on prom night

I realized that posting on this board gives no revenue to Jerry Jones and Cowboys organization, and I was somewhat expecting to get some people to boycott today's Cowboys until t.o. is gone.

"Accept the things I cannot change"

With that kind of attitude man would have never known flight or a thousand other inventions. Things can change, fans just have to believe they have a fighting chance.

The best way to do get rid of cancer on our team is to boycott all merchandise and stadium seats, then flood the Cowboys office with mail to get him off the team. Fans could make it happen, WE'RE the ones who pay all their salaries.

See that is the problem nathanlt. Not everyone is going to share your views. You come across as an elitist snob because not everyone on the board shares your views.

We have been down this road before, but Dallas has had much worse characters on their roster than TO. TO is not a threat to society, merely a threat to locker room cohesion. Yet, hey be a druggie, wife beater, killer, pedophile, but whatever you do just win baby!

What does it say about you that you care more about TO celebrating on the star than Michael Irvin cheating on his wife with a couple of hookers and doing cocaine? Therein lies your problem nathanlt.

You are more than entitled to your views, but just dont expect everyone to share them.

You seriously thought that you could go to a cowboys FAN board and get Cowboys FANS to boycott the team they love? hahaha Do you seriously think your opinion carries that much weight? Why dont YOU do what YOU said and quit posting here until he is gone? You will continue to come on the board like you do everyday, and will continue to watch the Cowboys, and when TO gets his first TD YOU will smile.

Can you outline EXACTLY what The cancer has done since he has been a member of the Cowboys?

For the record nathanlt. For all to see. Do not dodge the question, just please answer the question.

Did you call for Michael Irvin to be booted off the team? Did you call for fans to boycott the team?

I know the answer to this, but I would like you to post it. It could be theraputic for you if you take a deep breath and look at your written answer and think about how it aligns with your current feeling towards TO.

You're losing it fella. No one is going to boycott the team over ONE man. Simply put, you're trying to organize COWBOY fans to boycott the DALLAS COWBOYS. It ain't gonna happen. Find yourself a scrap of cardboard, a marker, a street corner and beg for people to follow you in this endeavor. You're going to have the same amount of luck, but it will give you something a lot more constructive to do than... than... whatever you're attempting to do here.

Would you be fan of the Cowboys if Romanowski were on the team? Would that be sportsmanship to you?

NO OTHER PLAYER IN THE NFL HAS SHOWN MORE CONTEMPT FOR THE COWBOYS ORGANIZATION THAN t.o.'s STAR INCIDENT! ALL WHO WELCOME HIM HAVE NO BUSINESS CALLING THEMSELVES FANS. JUST LAY DOWN AND TAKE IT. t.o. HAS MOCKED TOM LANDRY, ROGER STAUBACH, DREW PEARSON, TONY HILL, RAYFIELD WRIGHT, TROY AIKMAN, EMMITT SMITH, TONY DORSETT, BILLY DUPREE, RANDY WHITE, BOB LILLY. IF YOU ACCEPT t.o., YOU HAVE TURNED YOUR BACK ON ALL THOSE IN YOUR SIG. REALIZE THAT!!

Names like quitter won't change the fact that you have betrayed your team. I'm sick of these weak comebacks so you all can pat yourselves on the back in your world of self labeled loyalty. You have NONE!

No I didn't. As I recall however, Irvin never played for another team and mocked all the fans while standing on the Cowboys star. Apparently, some would like to think that the way the defense played was more disrespecting of the star than t.o. standing on it. That's just a rationalization. Nothing made my blood boil more than watching him do that. To think he might have a chance to do that again is so infuriating, I can't believe I'm the only one!

Of course. It's the DALLAS COWBOYS, not Romanowski, stupid.
Would that be sportsmanship to you?
If Romanowski spit on another player, no, that's not good sportsmanship. If he spit on you, well...
NO OTHER PLAYER IN THE NFL HAS SHOWN MORE CONTEMPT FOR THE COWBOYS ORGANIZATION THAN t.o.'s STAR INCIDENT!
I agree with you 100%, but you still DON'T understand what you're asking from fans of the t-e-a-m. Wake up!
ALL WHO WELCOME HIM HAVE NO BUSINESS CALLING THEMSELVES FANS.
Two things:

1. Not every Cowboy fan 'welcomed' him.
2. Up yours.
JUST LAY DOWN AND TAKE IT.
See number #2 above.
None of those legends QUIT on this team. I'm not going to quit on this team. YOU, sir, are a quitter. Get a clue and move on.
REALIZE THAT!!
Take a flying leap into a urinal.
Names like quitter won't change the fact that you have betrayed your team.
Admit it. Your given name is Judas, ain't it?
I'm sick of these weak comebacks so you all can pat yourselves on the back in your world of self labeled loyalty. You have NONE!
Oh Yeah?!? Well, at least mine grew on the outside, mister!

Deion Sanders stole our 3rd straight SB title by tackling Michael Irvin on what would have been a TD pass in the 1994 NFC Title game, and no PI was called. Did you throw a fit when we signed him?

Irvin could have been snorting lines on the star, but as long as he doesnt celebrate on the thing, he's ok in my book

Like it or not, as training camp breaks, one thing is clear. Parcells has not embraced the cancer Dallas has at wide reciever. People who want t.o. to contribute are getting uneasy about him being in his own world as a self labeled untouchable, different from all other Cowboys players. The team chemistry is suffering because he is such an uncoachable player. He does not listen to Parcells, who only last year stated that he is too old to be coaching misfits. The season is fast approaching, and this will all come to a breaking point before it starts.

t.o. and Parcells won't be in the same organization come the start of the season... count on it.

Fans are riled up about this, don't think the players aren't wondering the same things about t.o. This whole episode with t.o. was a disaster from the get go. It needs to stop.

A little over the top man. The truth is somewhere in between nothing and doom with right now a big swing towards nothing on the bell curve.

However I'm with you that TO is very full of himself. I just don't think he's buried himself, the team or Parcells yet. I do share some sense of pessimism with you though.

Do you think Irvin's action as a Cowboy disrespected the Cowboys a little bit more with his off the field real antics that caused most of the NFL to mock Dallas as a team of thugs and criminals than TOs TD celebration did as a San Fran 49er?

Sorry dude, but it is no contest. Do you think Tom Landry would have cared more about, TO doing a celebration on the star or Michael Irvin further contributing to tarnish the Cowboys image?

I seriously do not understand how you fail to see that!
