We were graded a D and dirty birds an A so how can what you say be true? I don't know man.
Losses vs. gains.

I think the Eagles did a good job overall replacing their FA losses, but there are question marks there. For instance, is Carter a gain over Hargrave. At this point, it doesn't seem like he would be, but who knows.

Meanwhile, we replaced Carlos Watkins with Mazi Smith. The bar is set much lower for Mazi to be a gain over Watkins than it is for Carter to be a gain over Hargrave. So the Eagles might have at best held their ground at DT while we made a significant step up at the position.

Of course, since the Eagles went to the Super Bowl last year, holding ground is OK for them while we needed to take a step up. Hard to say if we took enough of a step to get us further than we went last year. Trading for Cooks and Gilmore might help us overcome not making much use of free agency, but we still have some question marks at some positions, too.

People get to choose how they go through life. It seems as though many on this site have chosen misery.

It’s always amazing to read these posts and see how much some posters focus on those who choose a more optimistic view. Somehow not choosing negativity has become delusion. I just don’t understand why some are so offended or even care when others who don’t subscribe to their doom and gloom views. What a way to go through life.
A few of the “cowboys fans” in this thread are really Philly fans, just trying to create discontent. Everything about the Cowboys sucks and everything about the Eagles is great. They aren’t difficult to spot once you start looking.

Others are Dallas fans that hate Jerry and the team so much that they are, essentially, the same as the actual Philly fans.
I do my best to just work around all of those guys. There are a lot of good posters here too, so I just try to talk to those guys.

That's is true but us fake Cowboy fans are just giving the same exact perspective from the opposite side. Everything Dallas did was great...
I mean there's a Cowboy fan here saying Dallas was better than Philly last year. Not only were they better but Dallas had the better DLine, TE and WRs. It goes both ways.

I think Wilma did a great job this time around, given how the players fell.

We upgraded our biggest weaknesses last year -- DT, WR2 and CB2.

The Eagles? They got Jalen Carter, who will not replace Hargraves production for at least a couple years. And Nolan Smith, who is a duplicate of Reddick. You're not playing two 235 DE at the same time.

Meanwhile, they lost both starting safeties, their best linebacker, their best starting guard. Both coordinators. Five key players for them are over 33 (Slay, Cox, Johnson, Kelce, and Graham). Hargraves was their best D player, the entire glue. They have 2.25 wide receivers, one who could break in a strong wind. Their QB got paid.

AND, the Georgia stuff just might be too cute. Get a bunch of young, immature players who are bros from college and bring them to big city. Tell them they are Super Bowl locks. Heap praise on the Eagles all off season. Recipe meet disaster. Not to mention the history of Super Bowl losers.

They still have a great roster. But so do we. Best one since the 90s. We're better today than last year. And the Eagles are worse, despite what Steven A. Smith and Colin Cowturd and Chandler Random say

Before the combine, Jalen Carter was seen as a generational talent, and by many the top prospect in the draft. In no world did they get that much worse, I get free agency, they had a hell of a draft.

The Eagles won the division by two games. Literally if Dak played in both Eagles games we probably win the division. You fake Cowboys/Eagles fans are funny. The injured beat up Cowboys with the toughest schedule in the division took the Eagles to the final game of the regular season. Talk about delusional.
Do you really not realize Hurts didn't play when we barely beat them?

Dline is Cowboys... Whole D is very much Cowboys. And Cowboys better at RB, maybe WR and TE. Oline is Eagles. QB? We'll see... Hurts has one good year. Dak's had a lot of those
Oh Good Lord...where to begin?

Cooks and Gilmore are upgrades and not rookies
Cook is not more than an adequate, aging, #2. He probably still has speed so he will help a bit...kind of like Desean Jackson late in his career.

Gilmore will be 33 this season...this is not a player in his prime. If he is better than what you had, it's marginal. He may be an upgrade in name only

The eagle fans are getting so triggered about a post on a Cowboys forum ...... they have went to two Superbowls since we have ...... and they still have an inferiority complex about the Cowboys.

That 90's team really did a number on that trash fanbase's psyche.

We literally were playing corners off the street at cb2 last year at the end of the year.

Who’s in who’s head seems to me the Cowboys fans are the ones starting all these Eagle threads
