The Cowboys are not Frauds

Good post.

We have a big game against Wash then Thanksgiving vs Raiders. If we are 8-3 going into Dec that is a plus IMO.

I don't think they wanted to win more. The Defense played fantastic football and were playing amped all night. Tonight is all about the failure of the offense.
true but the defensive penalties were costly

Green Bay wanted to win more than we did

They had to win or their season was over. They're Desperation proved to much. I listened to GB sports radio all week and everyone was under fire. They had to respond. Sometimes desperation is to much to overcome. We just ran into a team that wasn't going to be denied today, bottom line.

Washington, I am afraid is going to be a very tough game, not that we cant or wont win, but if we come out thinking we have it in the bag...big trouble.

Yup, but we've been mistake prone all year in that department. I wasn't expecting the penalties to disappear but Scandrick alone had me cursing a few times.

Jason Garrett out smarts himself again. He could learn a lot from the Bengals...stick with the run you bonehead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We don't have to get 8yds on every play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Green Bay are mediocre at best, but you can delude yourself into thinking otherwise.

Yea, the Sun-Shine Crew said the same thing after the Bronco loss. Denver loss to who today? Top 5 anyone?

Oh yeah, it's a rivalry game so we know the Skins will be ready.

We've been punched in the gut for the first time since last month, it'll be interesting to see how well we repond.

Oh and I'll be at the game so we better win.

Garrett needs to learn about running the ball still. When he feels overmatched he doesn't use it he keeps passing as ifthat will get th O going. That is ususlly done by the running game. The offense had a horrible game and they don't know how to get out of their own way. I think it's time to let Otree get more routes. They need quickness when Austin is being overwhelmed.

If Orton isn't knocked out, I doubt they lose.

The way I see it, I'm glad the Cowboys got that one out of the way. :D

Romo sucks, Garret sucks, Wade sucks, they all suck.

Nah. Just Garrett. ;)

11 runs out of 40 attempts, with 3 not real running plays? Come on. I'm beginning to believe he's being bailed out more due to the players than vice versa, i.e. it's the players that overcome the coaching, but when the players suck, the coaching, particularly the game management portion, doesn't help at all.

All one needs to do is watch other teams and you can determine that yes, Dallas is a fraud. The NFC Least is just that, bad. Watch New Orleans, watch the Vikings, watch New England, Indy, and so on. Those teams don't make the screwups we do. Those teams don't lose to bad teams the way we do. The win against Filthy, although nice, proved nothing. Filthy is not that good. I still say we have not beat a top notch team yet. And we have lost to 3 dogs. What New Orleans does to us, and possibly the Chargers could be mind blowing.

He is the fraud. Capers stuck it in him today.

He is going to cost us at least one more game this year.

Green Bay isn't that bad, at least on D. If you were basing their losses on that basis, then our D sucks too. The O didn't help the D today and I'm sure that's the same case for GB. They almost beat the 2009 Brett Favre Retirement Tour Vikings.

So much for homefield advantage.
Who cares about homefield. It doesn't mean as much as it used to. I think every year for the past 4-5 years the teams with the bye have lost at least twice. I'd rather play that first weekend at home, get some momentum, confidence. This team would probably be better off in that situation. When we get too relaxed and comfortable is where we get in trouble.

We all know it. We see it week after week. Why do we not run the ball? We started off running it very well the first two or three weeks of the season. Now we abandon it every damn game. Our team, and primarily coaching staff, does not have the patience or mindset to run the ball. You can't give up on the run if it isn't working right off the bat. Today, Marion was picking up yards in the first quarter and then he just disappeared. I just don't understand it. Back in the 90's we didn't always have success running the ball early, but we stayed with it and it paid dividends later in the game. This team just doesn't seem to have the stomach for it. We lost today because we weren't ready to play offensively, because the O line stunk, our WRs stunk, and most importantly our play-calling was terrible. We will continue to experience these types of games until Garrett decides to run the ball with some authority and patience. I'm just not sure he ever will.
