For sure, the momentum could have changed the game. But what a thorough backside thrashing!
It’s the game I’ve been waiting for , all the Giants fans that were on the site saying we were going to get blown away. It was a great feeling. The one guy that had the class to say he was wrong and apologize for his post. You have to appreciate people like that. That was class.

It was on par with the 44-0 butt kicking we took from the Bears. They'll be referring back for decades to come. "This was almost as bad as that opening day disaster against Dallas..." I can see it now.
Omg I actually still having trouble remembering that. Good for you.

By halftime mind, I was confident the game was over, hell the 1st quarter? Such a great experience right out of the box, garbage weather, on the road and a division game. Loved it, even though I was exhausted today :)

Perhaps they will have an aggregate top five tight end when it is all said and done.

Does it matter if it is one player named Gronk or three players named Larry, Curly and Moe if they all end up with the same impact?
Well yes, Gronk makes more of a difference than any other three TEs together. It's about how they command attention and open things up for others, or how well they can take advantage of matchups.

I don't think Dallas really needs a premiere TE with how they use them, but none of their current crop is a difference-maker right now.

I knew some people would miss the point. What’s wrong with trying to improve?
Nothing.

But the question is how does one improve?
What others are offering as their suggestion is let the 3 very young players at TE actually develop.

Give them time. I was frustrated by the drops by them too, but we played extremely wet conditions yesterday, the football was extremely slick.

They need an All Pro TE to be solid?

smh

People have no idea of what the competition is.

I’m a Jason Witten guy, maybe that’s why in the back of my mind I posted
So you're a once in a generation type talent at TE guy?

I jest. It's a long season let's see how the te improve over the course of it.

There is always next year to find the next Witten.

The cowboys literally scored on all but one drive and rested their starters in the 4th quarter and scored 27 points despite drops. Still people act like the offense sucked. It’s incredible the way the goalpost move and how some fans act like the other team isn’t also a professional team.

I think it would be nice to have a top-five tight end
I think that’s the one position . We might be lacking in
I am imagine for some. It’s still too early to judge.
Opinion on this subject.
Dak has been glowing about Fergy, says he's going to have a huge year. Chalk last night up to the pouring rain.

Speak for yourself
Huh? You saying that there are not people that do not have a realistic idea of how our roster compares with the rest of the league?

Typically, your line is used when people talk of 'everyone,' 'no one' or some other specific individual thinks that.

In contrast, I am saying that a certain mindset exists. If you want me to explain how our roster and it's talent level as opposed to other rosters is already "solid" I can certainly justify my comment.

It’s still too early with the TEs to make a call, but they were a disappointment in the receiving game last night. I don’t even remember seeing Schoonmaker out there. We’ll find out at the end of the season if any of these players are the answer or we need to keep looking. To have a great offense you need a playmaking TE.

I need to see more of our offense to know if or what we may lack.

Last night was way to convoluted by our defense constantly scoring or providing very short fields so I feel like the offense never really got in a true rhythm..

The defense obviously didn’t need a preseason game but I see last night game as a preseason one for the offense.

When the offense starts firing on all cylinders ( which I fully expect), we can see if there are any glaring weaknesses to be addressed or just something minor to be tweaked

Because of your choice of using the word "solid" I can't disagree with your comment more. If you said "elite" I can see opinions on what would make us that, but our Offense has been one of the better ones in the league the last couple of year sand clearly did nothing yesterday to make us think we can't be again. So to state we need to add something to be solid is just way off base IMO

Our tight ends were bad last night.
Hope it was just the weather.

Wrong! The Cowboys are set with what they have.

It would be nice if I had a 69 Les Paul too. Go wish on some other star.

Ferguson and Hendershot dropped TD passes last night but the weather made passing the ball miserable.

The difference in the game for the offenses was the line play. Dallas protected well enough so the Cowboys got completions when they needed them. The Giants gave up pressure on 78 percent of their pass plays.

The Cowboys are just fine at tight end. Especially once they get Schoonmaker more involved.

I'm telling you Micah Parsons with Aaron Donald might create the best defensive unit in NFL history. I know for a fact I'm going to get A LOT of hate for this post but I'm not even joking. It would be that scary.
Could you imagine them side by side . . . my oh my
