Seeing the Cowboys lose is never fun. But for the first time since the days of Dave Campo as HC - I didn't expect much.

If you didn't have bigger expectations against a division rival, at prime time, opening the new stadium, then you are too negative to begin with imo.

He's back coaching the secondary and you can really tell.

I think in this context we should be saying that the Giants are who we thought they were - and we let 'em off the hook.

I felt since it was new season and the team had time to internalize what happend at end of last year that they would make any sacrifice neccessary to change the path of falling short in big profile games....apparently I was wrong.

I didn't expect them to win last night either but they played better than I thought they would. The team played well enough to win but for Romo's mistakes and Scandrick's lack of tackling ability (Whoever he beat out must not have been very good.)

They beat themselves yet again and it shows the team has a ways to go before they develop a killer instinct. Still, If Romo quits throwing them up for grabs, they win. Maybe he will mature this year, maybe not; better hope so because his contract says he'll be around for a while.

The "We gave the game away" mentality is always a dangerous one.

The Giants simply made enough plays to win the game and we didn't.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the Dallas players seem to come away with this excuse when they lose big games.

No, you lost the game because the other team made enough plays to win, pure and simple.

Well I was on the 9-7, 10-6 fence but I'm thinking 8-8 would be a miracle...

We lost to a team many feel is the best in the NFC, if not the NFL.

Yes, they were injured but good teams that have strong and solid coaching tend to overcome injuries.

I think Dbair said it best, what would have happened if the Cowboys had rolled out on the field without Ware, Newman and Ratliff?

The Giants had some pretty big injuries during the Super Bowl Run, but some of their backups stepped up their game.

I felt the same way. I was expecting the worse and they played better than I thought they would. I did not have high expections going into this season, maybe 9-7, so anything they do well, will be a bonus for me. Maybe they can use this loss as motivation and get on a roll, but I am not going to get my hopes up. I am going to take it one game at a time.

2 out of 14 games have been played no one knows who anyone is right now. Who is Chi the team that lost to GB or the one who beat Pitt? Who is GB the ones who beat chi or the ones who lost to Cinn? The NFL is 2 weeks old long way to go before anyone know who anyone is.
