I’d be very surprised if we win either of the next two games. So 6-4, then we play 3 bad teams so everyone will be talking Super Bowl again at 9-5. 11-5 and one a down seems best case.

If we lose the next two games, I can assure you the Super Bowl talk will be gone for the rest of the season. Today’s loss will cause some fans to bail on the team no matter what the Cowboys do the next two weeks.They’ll never overcome a three game slide already being in third place in their division. I’m not even sure we would qualify for the playoffs as a wildcard if the season ended today. I’ll have to look at the standings.

Our defense has gotten worse the past two weeks. It was looking very promising for a while, but the run defense is awful and we’re starting to give up multiple TD passes. In other words this bend, but don’t break defense is starting to break.

Don't know what happened but hopefully GB didn't do a reverse Denver from last year blue print on the Cowboys.

Reverse meaning that this time the blueprint was how to beat the Cowboys defense instead of offense.

I mean, I know the run defense has been porous in general. But with it being such a copycat league, theres now even more film exposing both the run and pass defense that other teams can exploit.

And I know, not all other teams have a Rodgers

Passing defense correlates much more strongly with winning than rushing defense. Having a top 3 passing defense statistically almost guarantees you’ll make it to at least the divisional round.

Sometimes it's best to leave Pro Football Focus alone......and go with what your own eyes see.

No way would any team gain a wildcard spot with only six wins. Lol If the Cowboys proceed to lose their next two games there’s a real possibility they miss the playoffs. The Cowboys will need to win at least three more games and there’s a possibility they could lose a tiebreaker. Both the Packers and Bucs own tiebreakers over us.

Lmaoo you should use nuance. Using analysis that is team specific not blanket statements. Greenbay oline is rated in the top 4 in run blocking. Yes they suck but specifically they are great at run blocking, and have a real good rb. How many teams can recreate that same formula on us?

I’m just providing the facts even Jimmy Johnson said the Packers are a bad team. Three of the teams the Cowboys beat Detroit, Giants and Washington beat the Packers. Aaron Jones wasn’t even healthy and was questionable to play but he still put up over 130 yards on us. Our run defense sucks! The Cowboys have given up 450 yards rushing the past two games which is the most they’ve given up in back to back games in 35 years. Not even our historically bad 2020 defense did that. Our run defense has dropped to 28th. Every teams formula has been to run the ball against us because we can’t stop it and now our pass defense is starting to falter. Our defense has dropped outside the top 10 now, Other teams start getting better this time of the year but the Cowboys begin their usual swoon. So much for the foolish fans that thought there was something special about this team. The suckers got fooled again. Lol
