We haven’t given up a lot of points, but we have given up the 7th most rushing yards. That’s not based off of one game. We’ve given up 140+ rushing yards in at least three games this season. It’s hard to keep everyone out of the end zone, we saw that against Chicago. Philly put up 26 points on us and one reason was they were able to run the football, especially late in the fourth quarter. We have to get better against the run or it will catch up with us in the playoffs if we make the playoffs. We could end up running into San Francisco again, and it could be a repeat of what we saw last year in the playoffs.

Well not when Parsons is playing linebacker that was a disgrace. Someone should lose their job for that decisions.

He’s so average at linebacker.

Regardless where they put Parsons the defense was going to fold like it usually does against Rodgers. They gashed us with the run all day and when we had opportunities in the fourth quarter to get to Rodgers we couldn’t pressure him. There were times where he had all day in the pocket.

Our pass rush is elite but our run defense isn’t. Funny how they left out our run defense which ranks 24th.

Absolutely. and this is why this team will Not only Not win the division but will miss the playoffs with an overrated D that can Not stop the run to close out a game!!

DQ had Micah in coverage most of the game. I was incredulous.

That said, Jerry needs to sign DTs Jerry Tillery AND Ndamukong Suh.

Secondary looked suspect with the pass rush taking night off.

If we had an elite defense no way does McCarthy go for it on fourth and three in OT. He had no confidence we could stop the Packers and why should he we couldn’t stop them all day.

Its both. We are NOT good at stopping the run either.

And once teams just decide to forget Diggs and throw at the other side when they need to throw, it’s a very bad defense.

Too many chunk runs given up when you absolutely need a stop. Then that makes the passing game that much easier to execute. We saw this vs Philly late in that game. It's a fundamental flaw that will leave the team vulnerable in any game.

They’re running the ball on us simply because our pass rush is so dangerous. It’s not that we are bad stopping the run. It’s just that that’s what teams are doing to us. Yes we could be better

Dallas is 22nd in the league in rush yards allowed per attempt.

I’d be very surprised if we win either of the next two games. So 6-4, then we play 3 bad teams so everyone will be talking Super Bowl again at 9-5. 11-5 and one a down seems best case.
