The Cowboys defense pressured Deshaun Watson 25 times, including 6 sacks on 56 dropbacks

We could’ve had at least a dozen sacks, but he escaped several. Parsons could’ve had at least four sacks, but Watson escaped his grasp. We won’t be able to afford to whiff on sacks against Lamar Jackson when we face Baltimore or he’ll run circles around us.

Idk it's hard to tell sometimes lol
Its hard to tell because there are so many posts that are so insane... I posted some totally insane crap yesterday.... and it just kind of blends in with the rest that people cant tell a difference. Anyone who actually is familiar with me as a poster would have known immediately that I was being sarcastic.

Demarcus Lawrence had an incredible game. Parsons is getting a lot of attention but DLaw had 2 sacks and 8 pressures. He could have had 4 sacks yesterday but Watson got out of his grasp 2 other times. DLaw was also strong against the run. With Cleveland playing 2 backup tackles the Cowboys should have taken advantage and they did for the most part.

But Parsons is just an incredible player. He shoved Cleveland's all-pro guard Joel Bitonio aside on one play like he was a nobody. Parson's combination of speed and strength is unbelievable.

Cool, but they were missing both starting tackles and their top 2 running backs.

Imagine us without Guyton and Steele today and only having Duece and Luepke to run the ball.

Dallas was dominant on defense, but there is context to consider.
i'm only parroting something i read earlier, but they were missing those same tackles last year, and obviously chubb as well and were still very formidable.

DLaw has always been underrated

But it's almost comical how often he can't bring the QB down sometimes lol

If the Cowboys sack Jackson 6 times and hit him 17 times like they did to Watson then the will be just fine. Watson is going to be sore all week from the amount of hits he took.

Lamar Jackson will be much tougher to contain than Deshaun Watson but yeah we will be just fine if we can do to Jackson what we did to Watson. However, I’m not sure we can. We need to see consistency from the defense. We started off great defensively last season but in week 3 got destroyed by a bad AZ team. Joshua Dobbs did a number on us.

How many sacks did they have and let watson run free. Poor coaching, poor tackling, poor fundamentals and it all starts with Jerry.
We got 6 sacks and you are complaining? Watson is a mobile QB, he's going to avoid some tackles. And how would poor fundamentals have anything to do with Jerry? He's not a coach.
Of course Parsons did, because he was gassed. He is out of shape and cant even play 4 quarters in the 1st game of the season.
He was playing just fine near the end. Also, a lot of players end up gassed near the end of the first few games. They haven't played hardly at all since last year. It takes some time. You see a lot of guys using oxygen and having cramping issues the first few games.

Overall, you seem like a miserable person.

My posts were so miserable on purpose.... My posts, that were 100% sarcastic crap, fooled so many people that read them because my post seemed to just fit in with the rest of the misery that is posted in here each day.

You clearly dont read my posts or dont really pay attention to the actual poster, because I am accused of the exact opposite in here actually.

you called them whiffs, but those are professional athletes and that why they are paid , true mobile dual threat QBs do that to most defenses. tough to corral them. they get paid too.. Keep it real.. I've seen dak do that 10 times year, shake off defenders that have him all but tackled, its why they are called dual threat.

So you haven't lost your mind? LOL. I saw those posts. I was like "what's going on?"
I thought by posting such ridiculous garbage it might help others see how ridiculous som eof the other stuff is aroun dhere and maybe we can clean this place up. There was NOTHING to not be happy about yesterday.
Game flow dictated what we did. We were Vanilla on offense by mid 2nd quarter. That is exactly what we did in the 1st two games last year. Those games were over by the end of the 1st quarter, and as a result, our offense was just ensuring they did nothing to let the opponent back in the game,

We led the league in scoring last year...our offense will be just fine.

I totally get it. I often dont pay much attention to who posted something either. Others, like Bob Haze, DieHardBlues, RIP couchcoach, Ive been reading them for so many years I normally know it is them as soon as I start reading.

I started posting a handful of absolutely PATHETIC, ridiculous, sarcastic posts yesterday after an absolutely dominant win to show how ridiculous this place has become. the fact many of you didnt know my posts were mocking... very mocking in nature, makes it clear that so many posters are so ridiculous.
I got you. My bad homie.

I agree 100%. Pump the brakes a little on the celebration. I’m not saying the Browns win if they’re at full strength, but it’s definitely more of a game.
