The Cowboys finally have the coaching

I think you missed the true message.

He’s living in the moment off of a much better preseason performance than we saw in the first one. No one was talking about how we finally have the coaching after 17 penalties that led the first week in preseason. If you want to read something other than that into his comment go ahead.

You’ve come to that conclusion from 2 preseason games? Lol After the first preseason game some were already calling for McCarthy’s head. Now after this performance he looks a lot better to fans. You guys continue to live in the moment.
Honestly, I haven't watched preseason.
But I know these guys are qualified and have produced.

I'm a Kellen Moore believer. Dan Quinn calls an outstanding defense, and the players love him which IMO is half the battle for coaching. McCarthy is a worthless fat Garrett clone, but with two highly capable assistants handling pretty much everything except challenges and time management, I guess we can live with that.

McCarthy coached with one of the greatest QBs of all time and in 13 seasons he won only one SB.

His "production" is questionable.

You’ve come to that conclusion without watching any preseason games. Lol You have a thread claiming the Cowboys are a QB away from winning the Super Bowl. I don’t think you watch any of the games.

It’s definitely a far cry from the Garrett debacle.

I know this is amazing but two special teams TDs will make most coaches look smarter.

I know a little about football.
But I don't know that the Cowboys are a quarterback away alone this season. Generally, though, they tend to compete in every other position.
What I do know is that they won't win a championship with Dak. They might eek out something In spite of DaK if they get some breaks. Maybe even a trip to the NFC Championship.

Well, why don't you enlighten us about how the Cowboys have achieved greatness?
As far as I can tell they still struggle on offense with a quarterback chokes.
Looks like they'd want better. I like Dak as a person, but he isn't a NFL caliber leader/quarterback.
I’m trying to remember here aren’t you the Kellen Moore for QB guy?

The Cowboys have only won championships with two QBs. Romo wasn’t the problem and neither is Dak. Either you don’t watch the games or you’re not very astute.

I have watched the games for many years;
Every Super Bowl team the Cowboys had was led by a true leader at Quarterback.
Dak IS the problem. Romo was better, but was also part of the problem.
They had one common denominator that taught them to lose-Jason Garrett.

Anyone who thinks Dak is the problem isn’t a very educated fan. The Cowboys wouldn’t even be a viable team with a lesser QB. The Cowboys have plenty of issues but their QB isn’t one of them. We had the number one offense in the league with him last season. Prior to his injury in 2020 we were leading the league in offense. He has a solid winning percentage and he’s one of the most productive QBs in the NFL.

Yes. And he's STILL the best qb in Dallas.
Dude this statement makes everything else you bring up in regards to qb play pretty much laughable

ole noodle arm from Boise state is not and has never been considered the best qb here
Having him get hurt in 16 was a blessing although Dak would have taken the job soon enough anyway

Well, Mrs. Moore, if I was ever going to hear you out, you just overplayed your hand. Kellen, while a good OC, didn't take long at all to show that his QB skills didn't translate from college to the NFL.
