To lazy to find it my self, but what was the home record at Texas Stadium?

Don't know, but we played there for over half of the 20 year streak of winning seasons and won 5 Super Bowls, so I'm guessing it was better than 52% wins.

This team is built to play outdoors and on grass. Offensively, we are built on a dominant running game and controlling the clock. Most indoor teams like the Saints and Falcons have explosive/big-play offenses. Defensively, we have always been a slow defense and that doesn't go well with playing in perfect conditions on a fast surface. Because we have never fielded a great defense in that span, I feel like opposing offenses have an easier time playing indoors here.

It's never going to happen but if the team played a full season at the Cotton Bowl, I think you'd see a huge difference in the on-field results.
Hmmmmm. Very interesting take.

We had 3 consecutive 8-8 seasons and a 4-12 season in recent years. I suspect that has something to do with it. We just recently started having overall success with 12-4 in Romo's last full season and 13-3 last season.

Jerry has built a phenomenally success business over the last 20 years. There is no question about that.

He's also built a pretty damn mediocre to poor football team, however, over the last 20 years. The results (2 playoff wins in 20 years) speaks for itself.

Well, we could open the roof. Allegedly it's still retractable, although you'd hardly know it.

I am still wildly impressed with the fact in games, our own team can get screwed by the blazing sunshine coming through the windows.

Now that was brilliant design right there.

If you've ever been there you would know why.

It's a complete circus.

The only way i'll go back is for free or a big playoff game.

Yep. I've made the trip (1300 miles, one way) a few times since Jerryworld opened but haven't the last 3 years. It costs twice as much as it did to go to Irving, and the atmosphere sucks by comparison. It's a beautiful stadium, but the old barn had a better home field advantage.

Yeah.. Don't get me wrong... It's an epic stadium but it's just not for hardcore football fans.

It's just an absolute circus with a football game in the middle.

Most exciting game I've attended at Jerryworld. Romo was in pain, ticked off at his center most of the night, Cowboys didn't even score a TD...won anyway.

The late great Stuart Scott with the highlights.

what is a circus about the games? This is an infactual talking point. All that stuff from the first couple of seasons is long gone.

In fact I can say with near certainty that the game presentation at AT&T stadium is identical to every other stadium because it is controlled by the nfl. All the signs and pregame stuff are the same.

the Freddie jones National Anthems are fantastic. There is no circus element at all.

Shh. Either you agree with the stats that fit the narrative or you are a FO apologist.

Well it's a good thing that I didn't disagree with the stats, I'd hate for you to consider me a FO apologist. Since I only disagreed with the conclusion reached via those stats, I guess I'm safe.
