You mean we have a chance? We went from can't beat a winning team to right in the thick of things. I'll take it.

Yes, and a chance is all you can ask for. It's funny how many people take those who are dissing on this team seriously. The primary issue with that is there's several who are declared haters on other platforms, simply fans of other teams posing as Cowboys fans, and, lastly, my favorite, entitled miserable people who project their misery onto the team.

But we've also had 30 days in a row of playing tomatoe cans like the Giants, Jets, Cardinals and Patriots......it all equals out in the end.

We've known this gauntlet was coming and going 3-2 is respectable.

Just hope the Boys keep that same energy against the Skinz.....they would love to play spoiler so bury them early and never look back

Are you already making excuses for if we lose? Sounds like it.

You spend all your time worrying about other fans instead of worrying about your team winning or Dak performing well lol.

Have you EVER been harsh towards the Cowboys? All your posts seem to be about "haters".
Another hater chimes in sheepishly.

None of you haters like me. It makes me happy.
Bro, I have nothing against you, I see a passionate Cowboys fan and there is 100% nothing wrong with it and I admire you for putting up with the 30 years of stressful Cowboys fans days. My wish for you in the New Year is to simply take a step back and analyze who is a fan, and who is a hater. If you had any idea what kind of Cowboys fan I am, you would look like a fool. If you want to find who the haters are take a poll as to who didn't find the ROH ceremony inspiring...next step is to identify my comments on this board about this ceremony and then say I am a hater. Enjoy a cold one on me tonight buddy :star::star:

There was a narrative going around that the Cowboys can't beat playoff teams. Well, you can't say the Cowboys can't beat playoff teams or teams with a winning record anymore. We beat Seattle, Philly, and Detroit. Three very good teams. Detroit had a great defence and gave us everything we could handle. Yet, the Cowboys got a much needed win.
Can’t beat playoff teams ON THE ROAD was the narrative. That held up.

And to that point , we need to stop putting ourselves in a position where one bad call can lose the game.
Unfortunately, lack of a running game matched by a difficulty to stop the run will almost guarantee close games against the better teams....penalties and the inability to get defensive stops at the ends of games make it even harder.

We've got some real firepower but some glaring weaknesses as well. Well Disciplined teams with a strong running game travel well in the playoffs

Well, on the bright side, someone has to come into ATT and beat us. I like our chances at home against anyone. The problem is going to be having to go to SF and win.

Just winning consistently on Sunday is a feat considering the dysfunctional House of Jones.
Winning consistently is hard everywhere. Even the 49ers had a three game losing streak and the eagles, well, you know. We’ve beaten some really good teams and been beaten by some. The one glaring loss is the Cardinals and even they’ve had their moments winning in Philly and Pittsburgh. The NFL is brutal. Enjoy the wins when they come and hope for the best.

Now why don't you go spend that energy ripping your own team dragging them down and I want to see you take all 32 teams and show us their records against playoff caliber teams and all their records on the road on grass and all the other narratives around here that make zero sense here's the number one rule that most old football fans coaches and players used to go by you're supposed to win them all at home and then split the ones on the road that's how you get double digit wins and it gives you a shot at your division and usually a playoff berth that's pretty much what you would hope because you damn sure don't want to be losing games at home right you're going to lose games most years you're only going to have teams with 10-12 wins as the top teams..

So again none of this makes any sense unless you're gonna do real research and show us how all the other teams have fared in the same situations because you'll probably find out that that's we're at the league average or above playing a schedule in which we play that many playoff caliber teams and had that record it happens and like I said two of those games could have went either way.. Because really in my opinion we played well enough to beat Philadelphia and Miami that's why I'm not worried most teams have struggled with San Francisco N Buffalo well if you remember right there were ten players that had the flu there were five that were getting over it there were a lot of injuries we were on the road and the rain just came off A5 game win streak sometimes you have to really remember the stories and each game stands alone and I'm saying that we play a lot better than you think we have if you look at the rest of the league and how they did against their road games and against their playoff caliber teams...

So when we get into the playoffs I like our chances... This has been a brutal schedule with two times this year we played three games in 12 days we had a bunch of road games against good teams at the end of the year and here we sit controlling our own destiny isn't that what everyone was hoping at the beginning of the year 10-12 wins a shot at winning the division and getting a hopefully at least one playoff game at home...

No one saying the Dallas Cowboys is a juggernaut in it unbeatable and all that other stuff but I'm telling you that I think we have a good shot and that's all you need... If you think back to the 2 San Francisco losses in the playoffs they were by 6 points and seven points and you go back to the Rams loss that was eight points these are road games that we didn't play very well in but we were good enough to keep it 1 score we had a shot who knows this year it could go our way...you’re insane

It’s the first time in Cowboys history that this has happened, assuming the Seahawks do what they are favored to do and make the playoffs. And they went 3-2, which the statistically expected finish for even the best teams over such a stretch. They are 4-2 overall against likely playoff teams.

The reality is beating good teams in the NFL is HARD, and even most playoff teams finish at or below .500 against other playoff teams most years. This season, of the 14 most likely playoff teams, only 5 will likely finish above .500 against other playoff teams.
Yes, pretty tough run there....but I think your numbers might be off. Maybe you meant 4-2 vs likely NFC playoff teams
Overall it looks like its 4-4

Anyway.... there's a real chance the Seahawks don't make the playoffs after their loss tonight.

'Hawks get eliminated in 2 ways
1) lose at Arizona or
2) either Vikings or Packers win their last 2

Guess we'll see after next week. We for sure have wins vs Eagles, Lions, Rams and losses vs Eagles, 49ers, Dolphins
Bills and Seahawks are tbd
