Here's Steele's contract.......at a min, he's on the team through 2026. We have an opening at RG to replace Martin. It wouldn't surprise me if they drafted a flex T at 12I want rb in first 2 rounds but if Simmons is available when we pick I wouldn’t be disappointed if we took him in the first and pushed guyton to rt. then Henderson or Caleb Johnson in round 2
I’d be a happy man if Steele is off roster unless they never call another pass play. He’s such a liability in pass pro but ok in run blocking
Physical down-hill runners which is what Klayton's system utilizes. What's the criteria you used to form this group of RBs?
I'm guessing Banks is who you have in mind there? Here's Steele's contract.......at a min, he's on the team through 2026. We have an opening at RG to replace Martin. It wouldn't surprise me if they drafted a flex T at 12

No, not at all. Many on this board think that all the Cowboys need is Jeanty to have a stellar running game. It takes a great supporting cast as well. See Barkley on the Giants as an example..We hatin on Emmitt?
Gotcha. ARZ has big physical downhill runners, and Shotty seemed to prefer those type Backs in his previous stops.Physical down-hill runners which is what Klayton's system utilizes.
Yep. I've had a strange feeling Hampton will be a Cowboy for a while now. My first choice from that list is Harvey . And I love Scatterbo''s mentalityGotcha. ARZ has big physical downhill runners, and Shotty seemed to prefer those type Backs in his previous stops.
Scattebo was is ARZ, so Klayton saw him. Hampton is an accelerate through the hole downhill runner for sure. Harvey is ice water, might be underrated.Yep. That is exactly right , everybody keeps saying it is a passing league and it is but .When a monster running game is built and used the right way ,it will make the passing game improve with less passes being thrown.I can't believe it , but it appears Dallas brass may be waking up and this coaching staff is very exciting.I hope so as well. And from time to time Dak will have to throw it a lot and we know he can do it, but just not every week please.
Yes, Great Post ,I have been begging for a great running game for a while and with this good coaching staff , I do believe this is now a strong possibility .* The dedication to running the ball is truly missed. Emmitt didn't tap out, he finished them fools. The passion!!!
I'd just like to acknowledge the FB screen Norv Turner pulled out his hat, beautiful play...can we Luepke on that play?
This has been the Cowboys identity to success and they've gotten far away from smashmouth football.
I am getting excited for the 25 season ,this team is going to build a power running game and they are going to get back to smashmouth football.Very good idea by the Jones clan , can't believe I just said that but this team has improved .If these good moves continue, meaning now getting the right personel to run the offense lookout.Build the line get a good back to put with Dowdle and Luepke ,draft a wide receiver that can take the top off of the defense. Then add motion and play action NICE.Yep. YepThey have no shot unless they have a power running game. They need to hide their 60million dollar QB.
I don't get the Skat love. Absolutely a fantastic college player but is a projected 5th to 6th rounder and isn't on any top personnel guys top 10 RBs in this draft nor did he make many of their top 150 prospects. He's tiny and slow and ASU reports him as 5'11. If he's 5'11 I'm 7'3Specific scheme fits for Klayton's run. System.

Just mentioned him as a guy who is a scheme fit. I do love his attitude, and if we double dip, I'd take him in the 5th. I also think he gets drafted before that.I don't get the Skat love. So far I'm impressed with the latitude given to Shotty to bring in coaches that meet his vision.I am getting excited for the 25 season ,this team is going to build a power running game and they are going to get back to smashmouth football.Very good idea by the Jones clan , can't believe I just said that but this team has improved .If these good moves continue, meaning now getting the right personel to run the offense lookout.Build the line get a good back to put with Dowdle and Luepke ,draft a wide receiver that can take the top off of the defense. Then add motion and play action NICE.
Hey, HEY there! You forgot Larry Allen! All they need is Jeanty along with a Mark Stepnoski, a Erik Williams, a Nate Newton, and a Daryl Johnston
