The Cowboys should just tank for the 1 overall pick

Do we really need to tank or just play up to our talent level? Either way gets us a top five pick.

I’m never in favor of tanking.

Play to win and worry about the draft when the season is over.

They could have moved up and got Malik Willis in the 3rd. They made no effort to get a decent backup and are all in on Dak for some reason.

If the Cowboys somehow obtained the 1st overall draft pick, I seriously doubt that Jones would draft a QB anyway.

Again you have to take a qb first if given the opportunity. It would be dumb not too. How often are we in the top 10. Dak is oft injured as well. 2 years left. Gotta start preparing for the future.

Draft a qb and let dak play out the year under a new coach… if he succeeds good. If not he’s cut after next year

After week 1? No thank you.

This team is tied to Dak for a couple seasons... Whether we like it or not. This division is bad enough that we could still win it with a decent bus driver.

Paytons (I'm not for or against it, just think its already done) going to cost us our #1. Would hate to see its also the first pick of the draft. Plus MM knows hes playing for his life-no way he would agree to tank

absorb dead money, and play with rookie QBs that will cost you less, and with a veteran QB that costs less, the other picks have to be OL and CB, since now they will have less money to hire free agents, Dak is going to cost 50M in 2013, a tremendous slop, they need to cut Zeke to save money, and above all they need to cut HC, the team is very poorly trained, the cowboys are 1 draft or 2 away from being contenders, but require to do a lot of changes, and Dak and HC should be the main urgent changes,

Sadly, even #1 picks don't necessarily pan out to SB appearances...

I get the reasoning but I hate the idea of tanking, especially when you have Diggs and Parsons.

I thought LVE and Diggs played well
LVE perhaps played ok. Diggs was ok in pass coverage but he made several business decisions when it came to run game

overall there’s something to build on defensively the other side of the ball is atrocious

and even when zeke was running well boy wonder abandoned it or zeke needed a blow

I have no clue who is in next years draft, but I don't want Jake Locker or Christian Ponder just because we pick top 10.

Jeez who even knows if Trevor Lawrence is going to pan out?

People seem to think you can stumble upon Justin Herbert because you want to. Even if you do, you'd better have the right coaching and situation.

Do we?
