I don't think it has anything to do with an elite QB. Because no one would forget them if they were starting Garoppolo. They're not. They're starting Trey Lance. It's kind of an unknown with a QB that just runs the ball. It could be a great season, it could fall flat. Hard to predict.

Injuries would be what kills them not QB play....thier coach will simply take the QB out of the equation if he gets in the way and they have the team to win with very little hard QB throws...now if they get injured again thats what kills them...no doubt the NFCCG and SB is where that QB thing will bite them.

Could you imagine making the Wild Card game as an AFC team and having to deal with Mahomes, Allen, Herbet, Burrow, Wilson, Jackson, Carr, and then coming up the Mac Jones and Trevor Lawrence's of the world?

The NFC is the old guard with Stafford , Rodgers, and Brady holding down the fort. After that it's wide open.

The Cowboys should be thankful that all these great QBs are over on the other side, because I don't know how a Jerry Jones build team could go through a 4 game gauntlet that is the playoffs facing off with any of those 4 QBs in a row.
Oh, the Cowboys have their own 'big boy' pants on already....:flagwave:

I couldn't agree more. I have no doubt that's their plan. It's worked in the past, but it doesn't always work. The 2019 Ravens got bounced quick. Then they were never able to repeat that regular season success. I just don't know what to think about the 49ers.

If they stay healthy, their D is still good, and can get a run game going with a QB like that, yeah, anything is possible. But I wouldn't put any money on it.

You need a great D to win it all with a bus driver at QB. The Great Ravens D with Dilfer and the Great Bucs D with Johnson.
The 49 D is not in that class. Actually there is no current team in the NFL with that kind of D.
