The local media guys are saying that is an indicator of where they see him playing.

This is the big? with him.......do you start him at LG,RG,or RT? I would say RG cause I love what Leary did last season and I wouldn't be opposed to just letting him start off at RT since he will most likely be there next year and into the future as well.

I let him immediately come in and compete for LG. Put your best players on the QB's blindside, a Tyron/Martin/Fred wall brings a tear to my eye.

I've said for the past 12 months I hope we draft a guard this year. I'm just greedy when it comes to O-line. You can't have too many good linemen.

We've been on the same page for a while. Very excited about this addition. Still hope we can re-sign Waters at some point though.

No Waters. He's almost 40. What's the point?

We need to draft another OG or two on Saturday.

The point is even last year he was one of our best linemen. He is better than both Leary and Bernadeau, and the combination with the rest of our line, gives us a pretty legit squad.

Not that I see it happening, but I think a line of Smith-Martin-Fredrick-Waters-Free sounds pretty epic.

This is finally a sign that the franchise has changed their focus. It's honestly the first time I've felt good about the team direction in ages.

It wasn't a sexy pick. It was a tough, trench pick - just like last year. I love it.

I think we're going to target Jernigan tomorrow. He really slipped. I know a lot of people wanted us to take him at 16 a few months ago.

Think he lasts all the way to 47? If Easley and Crichton are still there, do you still take Jernigan?

I still take Jernigan. I think him and Melton can be a huge problem for QBs. I think having two stud defensive tackles will make whoever we put on the ends much better as a result.

Doubt he lasts though, might require a trade up.

Yeah, there's no denying that our DT situation would be much improved. Guess we'll see if he makes it to tomorrow.

Martin is the third best OL on this team. He could start over three current OL starters.

No doubt he's a G next year. Maybe he can move outside. And maybe he's so good a G you don't mess with it
