Really well set up on that. Free playing foe his job. Young guy nipping at his heels. Haven't seen that on our ol in forever

I still take Jernigan. I think him and Melton can be a huge problem for QBs. I think having two stud defensive tackles will make whoever we put on the ends much better as a result.

Doubt he lasts though, might require a trade up.

I hate Jernigan......doesn't move well and not strong enough.

me too...that's what I said in the draft thread tonight red.....Free is hanging on by a thread IMO. Martin is better right NOW, but the more I think about it, if we can slide him in next to Free and get one more year out of Doug (RISKY due to Romo's health) then Martin will take over RT in '15. But again....that's a heckuva risk because Free isn't very good IMO

Think he could play about anywhere despite shorter arms than desired for an OT. He has a very solid punch, grit, mobility, smarts, handles speed well, etc. IIRC, Pugh had short arms as well and he progressed fairly well for the Giants at RT.

I read a media tweet about a month ago that said Dallas considered Martin as a guard. I wouldn't get my hopes up for him to play tackle.

I've said for the past 12 months I hope we draft a guard this year. I'm just greedy when it comes to O-line. You can't have too many good linemen.

I think we're going to target Jernigan tomorrow. He really slipped. I know a lot of people wanted us to take him at 16 a few months ago.

Would love that pick, at some point though we need pass rushers though
