The real problem here is the roster of course. No coach is coming in and winning a championship any time soon. If that coach is Moore, all his detractors will say "I told you so".

JB....I'll put it this way. I agree he isn't the strongest candidate but he's not as bad as you think. He's not my 1st or 2nd choice but I would certainly take him over a few other candidates. One day you will thank me for this ..........LOL

Bro, we’ve had this loser here before. He offers nothing. His scheme gets dominated in the postseason. His offense now isn’t even good and he has all the tools in the world.

JJ and Dak want a comfortable hire? They want “continuity” with the offense?

What a crock.

Hiring Moore is taking several steps backward and virtually ensures no meaningful cultural change occurs in the locker room.

Kellen’s greatest asset in the mind of the Cowboys is that they “know him” and are “comfortable” with him.

Sign me up on team nope.

It's basically been a disaster for 30 years. If Jerry at 82 makes the decision to hire Moore.. he really doesn't give a crap about winning, his players, the fans.. etc. None of it. You think it's time to wait out another calamity? His head is permanently stuck there.
But there has been no real calamity. Sure the Cowboys haven't won football games. But the franchise is the most valuable on the planet. Given that why would Jerry change?

Take away Barkley and his offense is offensive. Their passing game is ranked among the lowest.
The passing game is only low if you are looking at total yardage, The Eagles don't have a lot of passing yards because they don't pass a lot, about 28 passes a game, lowest in the league.

They don't pass a lot because they don't need to. They are ranked 1st in rushing attempts.

The Eagles are ranked last in passing attempts but are quite successful when they do pass. They are ranked 12th in average yards per attempt.

The Eagles are ranked #2 in point differential and #2 in yardage differential. They are ranked #6 in turnover differential. They have thrown the 3rd least INT's.

They are doing the same thing that the Cowboys did in both 2014 and 2016 when they led the league in rushing.

This is a pretty good read about Moore.

The Dallas Cowboys could get more offensive after the team moved on from Head Coach Mike McCarthy after the front office and coach could not agree on the team’s future. In the aftermath of the move, the media has been predicting several coaches who could take over the job. Ben Johnson, Aaron Glenn, Bill Belichick, and others are hovering in the universe.

The Cowboys have contacted Deion Sanders, Robert Saleh, Leslie Frazier, and Kellen Moore for the top spot on the coaching staff. Of the names who have been contacted, the favorite is Kellen Moore.

Kellen Moore, Really

Several Dallas Cowboys fans who remember him as offensive coordinator from 2019 to 2022 share this sentiment.

Here’s the thing about Kellen Moore: He is a Jerry Jones guy, and the comfort level with this potential hire is very high.

Not only is Jerry Jones comfortable with Moore, but so are Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb.

Offensive?

Since he left Dallas he’s been in charge of not one but 2 anemic passing offenses. One with Justin Herbert and one with Jalen Hurts.

So either Dak made Kellen Moore because he hasn’t recreated those passing numbers since. (With more talent mind you)

Or Kellen Moore just isn’t any good and has been pushed on the league as an OC when he isn’t.

I don’t want to hear about him leading huddles either. He sucked as a QB too.

So why did Herbert suck with Moore too?

I’m sure howie is extremely happy he’s paying brown and smith to be decoys. Kellen Moore has not succeeded as an offensive coordinator. His warts are being masked by Barkley. The team turned around when they stopped throwing the ball. This whole propping Moore up needs to stop. Moore would be a worse hire than Wade Phillips.

Laughably? Offense is both passing and running. Tell me how he looks with brown smith and goeddert
You claimed that Moore "has not succeeded as an offensive coordinator." That is factually wrong.

Over the multi-year period he was OC in Dallas, his offense was second in points per game in the entire NFL.
One season, he had both the highest scoring offense and the highest yardage offense.

That's the very definition of success.

So if our OLine is improved after a rookie season for 2-5th's of our OLine, we draft Jeanty, and Dak plays all season, how does Moore not look like a genius by default?
