Over the past several years i have stopped listening to/watching/reading anything other than fan reading. In my opinion, even though you have to wade through crap, you will eventually find better analysis from people who really care and dont have anything influencing their opinion.

Whether it's the Cowboys, Giants, etc. No one should be using preseason as any sort of indication on how a particular team will perform in the regular season.

The 2008 Lions went 4-0 during their preseason and I don't think I need to remind anyone how their regular season turned out.

I don't know about favored, but they did win 5 of 6 in the division last season with the 32nd ranked defense.

I don't think the rest of the division will be as bad as they were last year. The out of conference schedule is brutal. And the defense hasn't gotten better from a talent standpoint. Without a 40 touchdown year from romo and 12-15 takeaways from the defense, I don't see it happening.
