The Dak Prescott thread **merged**

That would require a selflessness Prescott's not capable of. He wants the glory to hopefully milk another company out of an endorsement deal.

No question if he kneels at the 1 we win the game. That just wasn't important to him.

God, I can't stand that guy. It's to the point now where I don't see how this gets settled without a fist fight.
Pretty sure wentz gives himself up in that situation. Only after taking a bow and shouting out "trust me fellas I see the truth "
Lol
This game wasn't a Dak failure. It was a coaching failure

It's Dak's job to get into the end zone. What if he'd gone butt-down on the one and then a play later, a fumble? Or a dramatic goal line stand by the Packers? The responsibility for yesterday's collapse lies squarely in the hands of this wretched defense.

It's time for a change.

That was my immediate thought. But if he stops at the 1 yard line and we don't get in we all second guess that too.
It is like no one remembers the 4th and half a yard that only a miracle play by Zeke saved us from not even getting a chance at getting that TD. People assume it is a forgone conclusion but it is a very good chance we would not get in there for a lot of reasons.

Yeah if we can't get a stop in 76 seconds with one time out that's not good

Hard to believe that pick was even debatable. That pick was 100% on Williams. Period.

We have people here whose position is that every pass thrown by Dak MUST be absolutely perfect. If it's 6 inches off either way, then anything bad that happens is Dak's fault. A WR never has to make a play because the ball thrown to them must be pure perfection every single time. That's the standard set for Dak.

This would be hysterical if it wasn't so pathetic

Do TOs win or lose games? We had one and GB didn't..

Because he had an INT that ended up in a score..
The INT is included in the passer rating. So the real question is "Does a 105.2 passer rating win or lose games?" And the answer is that it does, 67% of the time.

Also, this makes 3 games in a row in which the offense has scored 4 TD. First time since Dec 2014.

Shame on Dak. He scored a touchdown expecting the Dallas defense to hold up for 73 frickin' seconds.

Yeah, yeah, it's all Dak's fault....o_O

You don't know that.

Had we gotten stuffed at the 1 yard line or turned it over, we'd all be screaming at the decision to not score when we had the chance. Hindsight's 20-20.
Had we gotten stuffed at the 1 we would have killed more clock an had two more chances.

Bro, it's okay to question JG

So what if it's included in Dak's passer rating? It's a mathematical formula, with a lot of subjectivity built into it.

What determines the actual outcome of THE game is POINTS scored in opposition to the defense and if you negate that INT, we win... Trends have nothing to do with a per game basis.

It's a little unfair to point the finger squarely at TWill like that. Sure he's got no fingers and looks like a seal clapping when he tries to catch, but still a bit harsh ...

I think you give us too much credit. The most likely scenario would have been a holding on the 1 yard line followed by 3 incomplete fade passes into the end zone and a dump off to Witten to end the game

Then Dak would have really gotten crucified
