There are a lot of people on this forum that don't understand quarterbacking at any level. Dak has had bad games. He had a few in the second half of last season and one this season.

But that's to be expected.

But today's game was not a 'BAD' game. It was a game in which he played tough, hung in and did what he had to in an effort to WIN THE GAME. He needs a lot of help presnap, but that's to be expected. He is young, he is from a spread where he wasn't asked to and he has poor coaching around him to help him with this. This poor presnap ability leads to trouble in the pocket and passing down the field. This is really highlighted without the bearded wonder at center. He did a lot of the presnap diagnosis for Dak.
THIS WILL COME, WITH TIME!!
Dak misses "open" deep receivers because he isn't looking for them, he is looking at 1 or 2 reads and running. This will improve when he gets better presnap and can get it protections right. Right now, he is doing what he HAS TO to try and win.

I am NOT Dak "fan" but the more I was him progress, the more optimistic I am. He is a gamer, a grinder and with good QB coaching, he will develop.

Except for the fact that with Kellen Moore, he doesn't have a good QB coach....................

Teach him to hold onto the ball near the endzone. He spotted the deadskins 7 points. He sucks. He may not even be a good backup in this league if he doesn't learn to protect the football.

This was the tale of two Daks. Dak sucked and then he was great. That fumble was unforgiveable and defined EXACTLY what he sucks at.

This Oline, however, is garbage. And Zeke the great is nothing but joke.

I don't defend Dak.

But having Jason Garrett and his offensive coaching will never let us see how good or bad, a QB is .

How many years until we can expect him to see wide open WRs?
