Maybe it isn't, but when you live among die hard Giants fans like I do, this means more to me than to Cowboys fans elsewhere. Trust me, tomorrow will be a feel-good day haha.

Yes they do matter. The Cowboys have the best conference record in the NFC (8-1) and keeping pace with the Bucs, Cardinals, and Rams means a seed higher than 4.

Congratulations to the Dallas Cowboys. We complain and moan a lot but they won the division by beat a lot of teams in the hunt.

And I don't want to hear about how other teams had injuries or whatever. No one gave said that about Washington last year when they won the division because the Cowboys had so many key injuries.

We won it. We deserve it. No go out and show it by hammering the WFT.

Weird when a game between two AFC teams gives you a division championship. We can marvel at that oddity for sure.

Common opponents' record was the next tiebreaker in play. There's still a chance both the Cowboys and Eagles finish 10-7, with 8-4 NFC records, 4-2 division records, and a 1-1 season series split. This was the deciding factor and now it's impossible for them to catch Dallas.

If we lose out and they win out. And all the teams we beat lose out, and all the teams they beat win out. We still beat teams with a stronger record - ie strength of victory.

They beat Denver, so Denver losing helped us.
