I never examine picking up players that no one wanted after the season starts as a legit effort. Darts.

Bryant is a high on drugs lottery ticket.
None of that actually disputes the assertions made.

And you and anyone else are free in this country to decide how you want to think about X, Y or Z. All good.

How many times did this guy get caught for steroids or drugs?

Well at least we have a mature enough roster to incorporate a sketchy seed like this.

HA HA HA!
..here's silver lining. Because of age and how long he's been away from football. Maybe, figure out that this might be his last chance, anywhere.

Thats why I said he's a decoy.
Yet, unless one reviewed the entire game to see if Jones' presence on the field diverted Cowboys pass coverage to result in chunk plays by the other Eagles WRs - it's unknown whether he was an effective decoy.

Also in 2021, Bryant signed with the CFL Toronto Argonauts in late January.
A little over two months later (early April) he signs with Indoor Football League Massachusetts Pirates.
Bryant plays with them throughout their season through September - which resulted in him getting suspended from the Argonauts because he didn't report to their training camp in July.
Argonauts later released him in December.
I would have rather signed an UDFA.... a guy that was hoping to get drafted, maybe had a 6th or 7th rd grade, but just never got drafted or signed with a team. Give someone like that with some chance...even if it's slight....to have a future. Bryant will be 32 next month...and has 0 future.

You wouldve complained about the Cowboys signing Julio spouting off the samething I just did about him being injury riddled, guaranteed.

Bryant is low risk, high reward. Iam not seeing the down side here.
Well I agree it's low risk. I mean....it's not gonna harm anything...just wasting some people's time....

But it's a Low Risk No Reward deal....not A low risk high reward deal.

It's just a meaningless move that has 0 % chance of having any effect.

Let’s chill for a second. He was really good until the suspension. Ran 4.4 in combine and after training in NFL ran even faster. If he stayed in shape he will be faster than Hilton. If he can take the top off a few times and Dak puts it up to him other teams will have to respect it or get burned. Kind of want to see what happens. Off field issues. Sounds like JJ would have used a 2nd round for him in the draft. Naturally gifted with problems..

Plus, I'd imagine he will behave. This is likely his last chance in the NFL.

Also, younger players that were in the XFL and the USFL this past spring, that also didn't get signed as UDFAs after those seasons were over.
Appears the Cowboys picked up a couple decent guys going that route...Turpin and Aubrey.

He was a total stud back in Pittsburgh, thought he was long gone.

if he has anything in the tank, it's a good pickup
Lol a stud? Wth are some of y'all smoking? This guy was never better than Gallup. His best season was in 2015 where he had 50 catches and 750 yards. Anyone expecting anything from this guy is fooling themselves. In this league, you couldn't even call him a has been, he never was

I liked this at first then I saw how old he was and how long he been out the league. I would pass. Rather have Dez back than this guy. He must have impressed in his workout. Not7ch market forn32 year old receivers.

Or Jerry wants pisss off Goddell.

Perhaps what some fans are recalling and raving about is Bryant's rookie season the year before, when he only caught 26 passes - but for 549 yards = a whopping 21.1 yards per reception, and 8 TDs.
Bryant then followed up with the his second season you noted, averaging 15.3 yards per catch, and added 6 more TDs.
But after his suspended 2016 year, 2017 was his last good season, catching 50 passes again - but down to 603 yards and 3 TDs.
His only year in Oakland - and last in the league - was a severe drop-off...only 8 games played, 19 catches for 266 yards (14.0 yd/rec), and no TDs.
I don't know if you saw an earlier post where someone stated he was HOF bound..after only 3 overall good seasons in Pittsburgh- LOL
