Let’s chill for a second. He was really good until the suspension. Ran 4.4 in combine and after training in NFL ran even faster. If he stayed in shape he will be faster than Hilton. If he can take the top off a few times and Dak puts it up to him other teams will have to respect it or get burned. Kind of want to see what happens. Off field issues. Sounds like JJ would have used a 2nd round for him in the draft. Naturally gifted with problems..
Isn't this what we expected of Cooks?

This makes no sense unless Bryant wowed the Cowboys in his workout. It's just the practice squad at this point so no big deal. I don't think the Cowboys believe he will be a big difference maker but if he showed speed in his workout maybe they think he can help in some situations. He might improve teh downfield run blocking immediately. I have no problem giving him a chance.

I think leading up they kept giving him shots and that play across the middle was an easy one. You’re right they seem to be pushing him down the roster. I can see him being inactive in 3-4 weeks
There is no way Gallup is going to be inactive in any game.

Nothing wrong with kicking the tires. The guy may surprise everyone and can still play. He's kept in shape according to the word on the street.

Puts pressure on

So what you are saying is more of the same for our newly signed WR.
Even though I was very skeptical - and expressed it several posts - Bryant may still have his outstanding athletic abilities and football skills shown in the highlight video:
a) His four years in Pittsburgh, he played in only 40 games - 36 in the regular season + 4 in the playoffs;
b) played only 8 games in Oakland - that totals 48 over 4 seasons/
five years
c) two years away from football 2019, 2020
d) his 2021 season in the IFL was 17 games- regular season + playoffs ( the Massachusetts Pirates won the title) that covered 4-1/2 months (late April- mid September)...dont know how much he played;
e) have no information about his 2022 FCFL and 2023 XFL seasons
d) appears Bryant suffered no major injuries in the NFL, don't know if it's the same for the other threr leagues.
So...perhaps in the three years of inactivity, along with stints in the lesser leagues...Bryant kept up a regimen that slowed the deterioration of his body playing the sport.

Martavis isn’t Julio Jones but I pretty sure he’s good for 4th Qtr duty if Cowboys eat there food on Sunday
