What still remains troubling is how the Cowboys lost both their games this season. They were decisively beaten in both and absolutely destroyed by San Francisco. At least San Francisco and Philly were competitive in their losses today. Their games went down to the wire. If the Cowboys can’t withstand a few punches, and begin to fold, the losses by San Francisco and Philly today won’t matter. Everyone has been crapping on the Jets and Kyle Wilson, but at least they show some fight. They’ve beaten a couple of Super Bowl contenders in Buffalo and Philly.
It was definitely ugly, but it's still early in the season so we don't know completely what this team is going to be playing like later in the year. Philly and San Fran losing helps simply because we needed them to lose. I don't think we need to take it for anything more than that. We could play poorly and fall to the Chargers tomorrow or be one game back of Philly in the East.

I'm not happy about how we lost to either Arizona or San Fran. It was disheartening. But staying in the race is what it is about for the moment IMO. Each of these three teams might look a bit different heading into the playoffs than they do now. I mean, we know this from losing Diggs for the year. Now, losing LVE for the year. 49ers suffered several injuries today and it affects their outcome just like our injuries have affected us (particularly have three starting offensive linemen out against Arizona).

I think going back to last season teams are something like 0-14 after playing SF. They're a physical team and now we're going into a track meet the way Kellen Moore calls games. Not a good match up coming off a 9ers loss last week

Yeah ok. Being ranked only 30 in the red zone is sure to get a boost by this weekend…..maybe they’ll use this as motivation to get in the top 25.

From recent history we’re usually not playing our best football by the playoffs. We usually peak around mid season, then slowly begin to fade by December. Maybe this season will be different who knows. I hope if the Cowboys win tomorrow night they don’t blow the Chargers out. I want to see a competitive game where we have to scratch and claw into the fourth quarter to win. This season has been very strange. We either win in a blowout or get blown out. I want to see the team show some resiliency and toughness tomorrow night. I want to see see us have to battle it out to win. It’s hard to gauge any team when everything falls their way.

My heart enjoys the blowouts more. I think the close games will come, so I don't mind enjoying some dominance. I do prefer us doing it, though, over it being done to us. If we're going to lose, I'd definitely rather it be close so that we can at least feel that we were competitive.

I enjoy blowouts too, but we need to win a close game. They definitely will come.

And if they didn't lose to Arizona, the outlook would still be completely different right now and more positive. I think a lot of us knew we were going to lose to SF but no excuse to lose to a BAD Arizona team. And yes they are really bad - they haven't done anything since beating us.

I'm having trouble with the fact that, every time I looked up at the TV, there was another ex-Cowboy contributing to his team winning,

Dalton Schultz looked good, Amari looked great, and I think half the teams in the NFL has an ex-Cowboy as a kicker. Even Noah Brown caught a few balls and Randy Gregory recorded a sack/

The losses by the Eagles and Niners don’t make the Cowboys better. Agree, Cowboys have issues, but some seem to think they magically disappear when other teams lose….makes zero sense…..
