I have been concerned that we really haven't played a good team since the Bucs. It's hard to tell what we really are because we've just played bums every week.

this is a great point and mirrors where i am. it's been a great start, but i'm not sure how good we are yet. and it doesn't help that we only played one legit team and lost that game, and our franchise qb didn't even play in the one game that was the closest thing to a statement win. it's a weird year.

Usually offensive proliferation and defensive turnovers bail him out, but not today.

But the most egregious decision was moving Steele away from Zack and inserting Lael.

Which not only destabilized 2 positions on OL but it also hampered special packages like the Hulk package useful for short yardage situations.

Moreso, Philbin/KM/MM made no adjustments on an OL that just leaked like a sieve on the edges during half time.

Game was still winnable at half.

And DQ has to rethink big nickel when team was getting destroyed on the ground.

And Teddy took what he wanted when he needed in the air.

Dak Prescott is a middling quarterback, worth only about 70-75% of his value. Great in garbage time, though!

The defense is still in prime 2018 Rod Marinelli mode, cannot stop the run to save their lives.

This is the story of the 2021 Dallas Cowboys. They are NOT a good football team. They will win their sorry division and go one and done, getting pulverized at home by the #5 seed in the NFC (likely the 2nd-place NFC West team).

We do not know the true team yet and most of us have been waiting for this other shoe to hit the floor and for that "old Cowboys feeling' to return.

It is but one game and this team wasn't going 16-1 and will most likely not go 15-2 either.

They got knocked down today; they get the opportunity to get back up and knock the Falcons down next Sunday.

Yeah, for most it will be all about this game this week but for me it is all about this next one. This next game is where we get to see their true selves.
