A recent spell of misfortune and the trolls are ready to jump ship and convince everyone to do the same! I think this episode has much to do with the Dallas OL going through a spell of hard times with Tyron, La'el and Steele. The problems they're having dealing with their personal difficulties are ongoing. Dak, understandably, appears somewhat rusty, as well.
The awful lack of sync between them and their counterparts will, obviously, have to be overcome. Throwing the whole team under the bus is, simply, being fickle. It's not really surprising at all.
