Why the hiatus on this and the 007 franchises?

i think it has something to do with the studios that release these movies.

Totally disagree. He was very good in 3:10 to Yuma, The Machinist, The Prestige, American Psycho and he will probably be nominated for The Fighter. He's a good actor.

And Rescue Dawn. Hes a weird dude though. Even besides that audio tape

Seems like these are no brainer cash-cows. My guess was/is something like Nolan not wanting to get tied into 1 franchise or Bale being a weird dude

he was incredible in the machinist. it diddnt even look like him.

pumped for the new batman, hopefully they film in chicago again.
