There are lots of goats. The biggest IMO has been free safety. Just FWIW, I only think Philly scored 3 points off Bledsoe's turnovers before that last INT. We shouldn't have even been down at that point, had it not been for the atrocious play from FS. The game shouldn't have been tied in Washington save for terrible free safety play in the end zone again. Everyone can choose their own supreme goat, but it's like choosing between piles of crap. They all stink - there's not a whole lot of difference.

please...Bledsoe was clearly the worst starter on this team...it wasnt even close

as for the FS arguments...no FS makes a team a super bowl contender...a great one doesnt make you a winner, and a bad one doesnt make you a loser...however great QB play can riase your chances of winning, just like bad QB play exponentially increases the odds of losing...QB is the most important position on the team...in the grand scheme of things, FS is one of the least important

and yet with the same FS's here now, we're 4-1 in the last 5 games....a position change occured at QB however

Washington had a safety that wasn't, a boneheaded going for two, settling for a FG with time on the clock before the half, a dropped TD by TO, a bad play by Coleman, a breakdown on a FG and a horrible facemask call.

6-1 in other things that played an equal role in that loss.

Oh, hooray! Like I haven't said over and over again finding degrees of worthlessness isn't splitting hairs. Did I say FS was the main reason we lost? I don't recall saying that. I said their play was bad, while the QB play was very good. In games with Bledsoe, both FS and QB play were awful. If you're looking for one that was "the worst" - pick one. It doesn't matter either way.
