We might be better on paper, but we are not the better T-E-A-M. While we seem to forget how to play football in December the Giants and Eagles regularly get better. I would love to be proven wrong, but I don't see any reason to feel any different.

Better on paper?

Beat the Eagles - Beat the Skins at our Offensive worst and you would have to be blind to say at this point we are not better than the Giants!

Your argument does not hold. They also lost to Denver. There is not one solid defense in their entire division. If you want to play the who beat who game go ahead.

Tell me why you think the Changers will win. Give me three things you can prove they can do better than us when matched up head to head against us. I will wait right here.

I think we can beat the Chargers but we have gone 8-3 against a pretty soft schedule. We're 6-0 v teams with losing records and 2-3 against teams with winning records. Our opponents' combined winning % thus far is something like .428 (subtracting the games against us). Our opponents' combined winning % going forward is something like .630.

We have, we have a tendency to let horrible teams (Washington, KC, Carolina) stay in the game far too long. We tend to play down to the level of our competition and if we play the way we did against the remaining teams on the schedule we're going to be sitting on the couch in January.

We really have had one of the easiest schedules a team could ask for.

TB- Maybe the worst team in the league.
NYG - Playing horrible this year.
Carolina - Pathetic
Denver - Vastly overrated.
KC - Pathetic
Atlanta - Good win, still just an average team.
Seattle - Pathetic
Philly - The only team worth talking about that we've beat this year.
GB - Exposed us
Washington - We played down to the level of the competition.
Oakland - Pathetic

Tell me why I should be optimistic heading into the final stretch? I'm all ears.

You do realize that you basically just listed the Chargers schedule, just in a different order, right? They have played 8 games against teams that have played against... 8 out of 11 and we have the same record...? So your arguement doesn't hold up too well...

The Chargers are not much better

They are 3-3 against Winning teams (They beat Philly and Giants and split with Denver) loss to Steelers and Baltimore

4 of there wins come from KC and Raiders two really bad football teams
and Miami a 5-6 Team that is just above bad
