This post seems to have taken on a slightly differt persona from the "dedicated Fan" perspective. My comments are directed toward the intial "I am Fa -- hear me roar" statement."

The words are flowery and I don't necessarily buy into all of the mushyness. As fans, we get mad at our teams, and their players. But we don't lose faith in our teams. This lengthy adaptation can be used for any fandom -- if you read it carefully, it's very much generic.

Now I could give you an Eagles perspective of a fan, of wihic I know you wouldn't like. And while some of you could handle the Eagle Fan's Oath, many of you would ot like it -- and it doesn't mention anything about the Cowboys. It's just a rugged description of an Eagles fan -- there are several components to that continuum.

The bottom line is the description of a COwboys fan could apply to any fan. I think there are other versions of what a Cowbopys fan is -- this was just part of the story. I'd like to hear the tough version of that -- I can handle it!

I agree completely.

Just because someone is critical, that does not make them any less passionate. To suggest otherwise is a little insulting and elitest, even though most that fit the above description tend to paint their faces when they go to games.

ROFLMAO!

Yep. :)
