He comes in heavy handed and with a strong desire to clean up the league.

Everyone pays for their wrong doings whether there is a precedent or not..... errrr....... except for Pats Head Coach.

This will not stand.

I have a gut feeling that the reason why Goodell stuck his head in the sand is b/c there may have been PLENTY of cheating incidents by MANY other teams-if they were exposed, it would damage the image of the NFL.

Really-I have no doubt in my mind that that Hawks/Pitt game was *fixed*-what if the evidence is on Goodell's desk, and he decides to expose it?

What I dont get is if there is so much cheating going on in this manner, why have absolutely NO REPORTS whatsoever on any other team come out?

Maybe there is something going on with another team, but I think it is WAY overstated.

I don't agree that the game was fixed, I will agree that there was a couple of bad calls in the game but I don't think for a second that or any other NFL game has been fixed.

Good point, but assuming the Pats were "cheating" all these years, why didn't ANYBODY know about it until last week? One would have thought it would have come to light MUCH sooner.

I dont think so. Bullicheat is being accused of having video camera's on opposing sidelines during a game when it not allowed at all during a game. You believe EVERY or alot of teams are doing this. I dont believe so.

John Clayton said that cheating probably goes on alot, then said he knows of alot of teams that cheat, maybe he was talking to fast or whatever, but the commish needs to call old John up and tell him to say what teams are cheating since he knows......

Reporters always talk outside of there head once a story breaks, they all know everything once everything is put out in the open

If the Dallas Cowboys were cheating I think it would have broken headlines years ago, Dallas is under too much scrutiny to ever blatantly or knowingly ***** the rules much less arrogantly defy them as New England did.

The lovefest has turned sour, the country outside of the Boston area is mostly sick of the Pats and this provided that ever lingering feeling that something about their Super Bowls hadn't added up with a genuine "AH HA! I knew it!" that so many suspected in their gut.

An asterix in the record books and a Nixonian shame to follow Bellicheck and Tom "Spirow Agnew" Brady until their careers are relegated to memory, but regretably the legacy of that memory is in grave doubt.

Nah.. its not a replace all. Looking for consistency. I think he is the right guy for the job.

He muffed it though. TOO much for Wade that opened the door for his NOT ENOUGH for Bullicheat.

I wouldn't have minded a 5-6 game suspension, but i'm smart enough to know how things work. That's why i guessed a #1 draft pick, 1 million fine and 1 game. I came up long on the cash and no suspnsion, but i was in the ballpark.

As far as Wade goes, maybe he should have gone toa doctor instead of buying from a dealer?

SB XL WAS fixed. So was XIII. And X was mighty fishy too.

Nah-I still get nightmares over Jackie Smith's lack of concentration in XIII-I really felt bad for him.

He doesn't look like a dictator to me - more like a boot licking lackey.

Or bought Viagra? Whats up with HGH for impotence? NFL might reasonably question why coaches are buying that stuff and where it went. And yes, why did he not go to a legit doctor?

Wade is not completely clean here, he failed a League drug policy.

My take? Some people are up in arms because it hurt the Cowboys, even though i can't see the loss of Wade hurting us. Then some are still mad about the thug players being raked over the coals. Lots of lawyers and NAACP members i guess. Then there is the 3 in 4 years trophy envy many Cowboys fans have for the Pats. Lastly there is the fact Belicheat is a loser awesome person and now a known cheat. Add it all up and not a whole lot of Boys fans agree wth the commish, but they'll have you think none of the above applies.

There's the problem, reason 10,012 why their 3 out of 4 doesn't really count and don't forget some people have called them America's Team. Oh the horror, kick em out of the league.
