The difference between last year and this year?

Just so you know, my response was in support of Romo. I was rebutting the previous post about how Bledsoe could pull out a win.

I am a big believer in Romo.

That's cool, I did'nt mean to jump on any one person, I read the whole thread and that's when I wanted to rant. I should'nt have quoted you or anyone else. My apologies.

Leave it up to a loss to bring Munchis out of the woodwork. Is this guy even a Cowboys fan? Why isn't he banned already?

Anyway, we won last year in spite of Bledsoe, not because of him. Last year he threw the game away in Oakland. He threw the game away in Seattle with that last second pick that gave Seattle the game-winning FG. He was a statue in New York and Washington and allowed them to manhandle us. And the only reason we won in Philly was because McPukey choked and Roy pulled one out of his ***.

So no, Bledsoe wasn't our lifeline. With him we were a mediocre 9-7 team who could beat up on the bad teams but couldn't win the big games.

You might be on to something....at least Bledsoe kept us in games and knew how to pull the win out despite poor statistical performances.

Munchis....Out!!

Yea, Bledslow kept us in games so he could personally drive a stake in the team's heart with one of his pattened zone picks. The statue single handedly cost us at least 2 games this year.

We would be looking at 12-4 with a win over the Lions, but your boy had to screw the team over.

Beast.................Out!!!

Also, Gurode is not getting blown off the ball the way Al Johnson was..

True - it was truly amsazing how so many on this board vigorously defended Al Johnson ALL YEAR. I don't know what games they were watching or if they were watching at all.

Bottom line, aside from Romo, not much has changed from last yr to this yr IMO.

I know there's obvious ones, but last year when we lost we were always in it, except for the Commander game. This year, were getting our butts handed to us. Whats the difference? Romo?, The Defense, I think were a better team this year, but last year was atleast exciting when we lost, this year is depressing

The biggest difference is last year they couldnt block anyone on offense or move the ball with any consistency on offense, this year they cant stop anyone.

Much better Offense and worse Defense. the only real change has been Ellis missing. But then again I think we are actually running up against better coached offenses this year. Better offenses all together. Sort of makes me think its like 2003 last year in that we did not run into many top offenses.

isnt the answer painfully obvious after the last 4 games?

if not here's a hint---the guy thats the problem has been in his position for 7 seasons now
