Discipline.

Think about it- how many times did you say "Wow, the Ravens did something stupid there" vs. "Wow, the Cowboys did something stupid there"

I think there were at least 5-10 plays where a bad throw (both Romo INTs), penalties (multiple unsportsmanlike calls that led to at least two scores for the Ravens), bad tackling and inability to make a play (Hamlin) caused us to lose the game. I don't recall the Ravens doing anything dumb to cost them the game. In fact, they had few mistakes and executed very well on certain plays (fake field goal, wildcat formation) to win the game.

This was also true in the Steelers game. Better coached teams will always beat us, independent of talent.

The difference was that, sad to say, Flacco outplayed Romo.

But hey, according to your premise, at least we're better coached than the Giants.

When you lead the league in penalties, there's obviously something wrong... Dallas had way too many dumb penalties last night to even think about winning that game.

I'd like to add Mental toughness. We cut the lead to 2 twice, but the ravens responed and just weren't going to be denied. The players played like there playoff lives were on the line and the coaches coached that way as well. The fake field goal was a clear indication that the ravens didn't come to dallas to keep it close, they came to win. Derrick Mason is a prime example of the toughness the ravens displayed last night.
