Ask yourself that question as draft day gets closer. After last year i have lost all confidence in JERRY JONES to make any type of draft decision, while i see other teams snatch up playmakers jerry on draft day is like a drunk at the casino in vegas, free wheeling and trading down then trading back up while coming up craps over and over with his head scratching picks...it makes me sick. Like Jimmy said "Jerry just can't help himself", how long is it going to take for this crap to stop and stephen jones politely commits this guy for 48hours of the draft?

Then again, there was the 2008 Draft of Felix, Jenkins (traded up for), Marty, Choice & Scandrick.

Yup, any drunk could have pulled that off.

This thread sucks.

Making trades for WR is one thing but since he drafted RWilliams in 2002 his drafts have been solid to spectacular.

The poor picks, Carp, Rodgers, various KR and Peterman all smack of Bill Parcells influence.

Last years draft saw a TON of injuries from top to bottom and its only been one year.

For every Felix or Jenkins there are 11 picks like last year guy...yup, any drunk can fall off the wagon.

Whom should we trust?

When will some of our people realize we have a top notch scouting department that provide the information for the Drafts and Jerry Jones isn't a man man band?

The lack of insight into what a GM does is marvelous entertainment.

11 picks like last year? I didn't know you can judge a draft off of one year. Why don't we wait and see how that draft plays out before dismissing it.

Guess how many people care that you've lost confidence in Jerry Jones?

Especially our GM. I really doubt he's ever broke down film of a prospect. And that's a good thing.
He just takes in all the info, all the input and pretty much signs off on the final decision.
I wouldn't even go as far as to say he makes that final decision. He has input and the final word. But I'd guess he leans on the coaches and scouts to make the best call.

Here's something you can guess, how many playmakers we pass up in this draft.

How many other teams have a Pro Bowl QB and WR who were UDFA's, an All Pro NT who was a 7th rounder and a HOF TE who was a 3rd rounder?

That's what you call a thread stopper.

Good bye whiney troll.

This post in fantastic in its total lack of redeeming quality. From the butt hurt response to another poster's lack of support, to the horrible grammar, to the butchered quote, to the incorrect answer provided, it is absolutely fascinating in its completeness as a total dud.

Weren't Romo, Austin, and Witten also Parcels guys? Thread is dumb because the situation is what it is. The reality is that the two WR trades made in the last decade for 1st rounders would have gotten the average GM fired that actually had to answer to somebody.

This guy started posting 100x more after the playoff loss. Wonder why every post is just like the ones in this thread?

I trust jerry jones in the sense that he tries to build a team and he cares, but in trading, jerry gets buffaloed into either givng up too much when trading for a player or not getting enough when he trades draft picks etc.
