I've been listening to them pretty much since January and those guys really did a great job of informing people on DC.com

When I was watching the draft last night I pretty much knew the first 20 picks except for the odd shocker here and there.

People criticize Broaddus but he nailed the Cowboys pick back in March.

Anyways I would suggest not skipping that show again next year. They are on top of things when it comes to this draft.

I really don't understand all the broaddus hate. I think he does a fine job and actually studies tape.

Well not only that.. For example.. Maybe you hate his player evaluations.. Still though.. These guys are in the building with these coaches, scouts, and players everyday.

Broaddus and all of the other DC.com media share a cafeteria with those guys just about every day.

Of course they are going to get information.

So if you like getting quality Cowboys information then the draft show provides it.

I watch for Brugler. Broaddus is a bum who is lucky to even have a job after he was our pro scout in the 2000's. I knew we were taking LVE too, knowing the pick, and the pick being the "right pick" are 2 totally separate conversations.

I love that crew. They nail a lot of the picks and are far more accurate than ESPN or NFL network.

That's another issue.

The national media is just terrible when it starts getting out of the top 10 or where QB's could go.

They spend too much time on top 5 picks on their shows and on draft night it shows. I won't say they look lost but they seem pretty clueless on some things.

Like Daniel JEremiah had us taking Hayden Hurst? Really? Come on that's just horrible.

Go watch our free agent moves and trades for pro players when broaddus was a pro scout for us. He's a company guy cuz Jerry gave him a job when no one in their right mind would hire him. And hes an a******

because he' s an *** when you don't agree with him and he comes off as an *** with his twitter responses.

He's much less likely to be antagonistic if you do your homework instead of just opining your opinion.

But he was the 1st to call it months ago because of the guys he talks too.

Regardless if you cant stand his views you gotta respect his inside info that he gets.

A lot of my favorite posters on this forum do not like Broaddus. @Chocolate Lab doesn't care for him I know. I don't mind Broaddus.

I enjoy football discussion and I don't always agree with these guys. They probably value their opinion too much but I probably value my own opinion too much at times.

Well.... I guess Jeremiah DID know something.. Apologies for that.

Hurst was the Witten clone too.

I poke fun at the media team in Dallas from time to time, but we really do have better coverage than any of the other teams I've come across. Broaddus I like just fine. He's kinda dumb and likes to twist conversations and talk over people, but it's mostly for entertainment purposes. And he does do a good job of breaking down what a player can and can't do. Where's he's bad is at guessing what the team might or should do with that info, so he supplements that with what his buddies tell him.

But, yeah, especially with Brugler in the room, that content is great. We're fortunate to have it.

I don't like Broaddus because he used to send me and several others (theogt IIRC) some very angry, aggressive PMs on here at the slightest criticism. Incredibly thin skin for a grown man.

As for his scouting opinions, I really don't keep up with those anymore.

Best part of yesterday's show was Helman being so confident the Saints traded up for Jackson and their reaction when they picked Davenport.
