Do you guys remember when we got beat by the Eagles a couple of years ago on a short week? We got demolished and then turned around and beat them the next time out pretty soundly. Every win or loss has variables that must be considered.

Arguably the best win so far by Philly is the Jekyl and Hyde Panthers by 5 points.

Think about that. They were a 7-9 team last year that made some smart offseason moves and they zoomed right past us and are now the best team in the NFL.

Watching them succeed makes me even angrier at our front office and what a crap job they did this past offseason.

The Denver QB situation has gone from looking pretty solid (at least above average) to totally in the ****ter. The way the Broncos are playing today they couldn't beat Cleveland or San Francisco. My point was that was fortuitous for the Eagles.

Anyone who can't see that the Broncos aren't remotely playing like they did early in the year is fooling themselves.

Yeah I was wrong on Simien. I really thought he was solid starter. And he was. I don't know what happened. They are going to force Elway to overpay for Cousins at this rate.

The good news is we can do the same to them if leadership utilizes opportunities properly and players keep working to develop. I love Dak and was on him being the starter after the second preseason game last year, but Wentz blew by him this offseason like he was standing still. I want to see more and I know he has it in him.

The Eagle defense is the difference. Thru are solid. And yes, I know the back end supposedly isn't the greatest, but they're good enough, and the front is elite.

I don't have faith in this front office to make the changes necessary. So in that sense, yeah, I fear we are staring at more years of futility. They believe they are fine in the coaching department, they shop the bargain bin in FA because they are cheap and hope they just get lucky, etc.

This is such an important offseason for this franchise and my confidence in them is low.
