I thought we looked tired also. A step slow all night. I think we could not have faced a worse opponent than the eagles fast paced offense today. We get another shot at them. We will see if the results are any diff
Yep - I'm not that upset. Games like this happen and they are a good team.
Ttell you what right now we will win in Philly and I don't usually say stuff like that. We have to win in Chicago and with the embarrassment of getting beat down by a division rival wearing on the team for ten days we'll be ready and we will win.
Book it!
I think the offense can and will do much better next next game against the Eagles.
The defense, unfortunately, I think has been playing over their heads most of the season and have come back to earth. There really isn't a single difference maker on the Cowboys defense who can make a splash play to turn the tide when things are going bad.
The Eagles just kicked the Cowboys butt thread

and, again, no routes to the middle of the field, no seam routes, no crossing routes. Every route was deep or outside the numbers, even the ones to Beasely..... Last week Dez torched the Giants on crossing routes.....My problem is you still see Romo under duress and all of our routes are 30 yards down field.
We do nothing special to get someone open and like always it will come back to bite us.
We've got playmakers everywhere but unfortunately our scheme handicaps us.
I just hate that the Eagles more or less said, "we're going to Dallas and kick their butts, because they aren't all that."
Chirped all week.
And Dallas laid down and let them — without any fight.
I just can't understand that weak mentality.
BTW this was not just a loss, but a really bad loss. The kind will probably linger. Every weakness was exposed, Romo looked liked he is 85 years old. The team that just mopped the floor with them, got beat even worse by the Packers. In other words this wasnt close to a top team that just humiliated you them at home.

Honestly I'd prefer a blowout loss (like this one) then say if we would've lost last week in a thriller to the Giants. That's much more emotionally draining, and also I think this game could be some medicine getting served up to our 'Boys. They've yet to be punched in the face, stomped on the floor, taken behind the wood shed and beaten down like they stole something. Previous to tonight they've been in every game with a chance to win it late, so I think it could be an eye opener to a young Cowboy team and could possibly be a positive impact for this team in the future.
