I expect Texas Stadium to be rocking.
Eagles' fans travel well, as anyone who has been to the Eagles-Cowboys games at Texas Stadium over the past 10 years will know very well. I am hoping that the fact that this is on X-Mas day might change that calculus a little bit.

Those of you going to the game - make some noise and don't let those filthy rodent Eagles' fans take over our stadium.

Seems that every season RW has a massive hit that is preserved for posterity...I have a feeling that this week is going to have this year's 'OMG' hit in it.

I hope Roy plays a good game and covers well. I know he plays the running game well and can crunch people. Not dissing anyone just what I want.

I hope they have that RB out of the backfield covered.

The good news is none of us are playing in this game, because I am hearing a lot of the same overconfident talk I heard before the Saints came to town with a beat up WR corp and a few banged up Defensive players. And that was a big game too, at the time it was played, to possibly position ourselves for the #2 seed.

How many big games against Division opponents (at the GIANTS AND REDNECKS LAST YEAR) has this team had where we were outplayed and it has looked like we were outcoached, over the last few years? Granted we have won some big games as of late, but don't make the mistake of thinking we will walk away with this game easily.
Mega-dittos Acheman. I couldn't have said it better myself...

I agree. THis is no walk in the park like some think it is. same cast of characters who are being as arrogant.

I think this is a 3 point game. The eagles offensive line is playing extremely well. It will take everything we got to win.

I don't care if he doesn't hit anybody, I just hope he doesn't again get burned to a crisp by Hank Baskett.

We really seem to be every teams super bowl. I wish they would play their hearts out every single game it would be a better league all around.

And every single person talkin garbage about how much better we are than the eagles and how its an easy win all I say is 42-17

Agreed.

Just because I feel we can really overpower these guys doesnt mean that I dont have genuine concerns about us... and our deficiencies... we got slammed by Atlanta in first half... then preceeded to allow only SEVEN points in entire second half.

42-17 works for me too :D

Yup! That is good news.

Overconfident talk by fans means nothing to outcome.

The defense will come out ready to play this week. Many have been snubbed by the probowl balloting and will have chips on their shoulders. I just hope Anthony Henry's groin is all right. The way he was favoring one leg while chasing Roddy White Saturday did not bode well.

Besides our suspect secondary as of late (mainly R.Williams and Henry), I'm equlally worried about our Kicker. Gramatica did make a crucial FG against the Falcons that helped swing the momentum our way, but again, he ALMOST MISSED that kick. We simply can't have that against hte Eagles because this game may very well come down to a FG. And I'd hate to be in a game where we're kicking FGs (or mising them  ) while they're scoring TDs because of blown coverage in our secondary.

Agreed. I would like to see "straighter" kicks... let try and get him closer too!

Well since it is the fans on this board that I am talking to/about, I think I realize they will have no bearing on the outcome. Hence I said "the good news is none of us are playing in the game".

Just trying to help some of you off the edge of the cliff before you have a suddenly bad case of depression on Christmas Day and try to jump off said cliff.

"Hope for the best, prepare for the worst."

I was watching NFL Total Access last night and they showed a camera-clip from the Eagles locker room just after their win against the Giants. One of their defensive assistant coaches gave them a "you guys did a great job, and you control your own destiny for the division title" speech, and soon after, many defensive players huddled and put their raised hands together; and then one of them said "On Three". Then they all broke hands downwards cheering "1-2-3 COWBOYS!".

I mean, here they are just beating the Giants, a division rival, and already the Eagles have Dallas on their minds. And this wasn't just some rah-rah hype; these guys looked very serious and focused. They're circling this Dallas game on their calendar, so this Dallas team better come prepared to punch this over-achieving and overrated Eagles team in the mouth, because if Dallas takes them lightly and plays flat then they can be trapped into a loss, much like Carolina and the Giants were. Dallas is by far the better team, and it’s time they put the gloves on and not give this game away like they did the last time they played the Eagles!!!

Let's see.....umm, why WOULDN'T they be circling this game.
