The Eagles win today hurts more than most seem to realize

The Eagles now only have three games left on their schedule (other than Dallas) that they have a realistic chance of losing. It's their next 3, Chicago, NE and Seattle and ALL are at home. Chicago's offense is inept right now and the Seahawks offense tends to go into a shell on the road. Even if they lose ALL THREE, they're going to be 7-7 when they see us again and close the year out against the Giants.

Barring a huge upset, the Eagles worst case scenario right now is 8-8 and that's IF they lose to us. The problem is we only have two games the rest of the way (the Giants and Commanders) you can say we absolutely SHOULD win. And by the time we face Phill again, we will probably be 8-6 at best. And Philly is already locked in with a better head to head record due to beating both the Jets and Packers.

The Eagles winning today pretty much guarantees that, barring them losing a game as a huge favorite or us going on an unexpected rampage through our schedule, the game in Philly will be for the division title.

Then we’ll go into Philly and beat them.

Unless the North Dakota dork is injured and their backup catches fire, I refuse to be scared of that clown show.

We have the better QB... and the QB who lives for big games and big moments.

They have the worse QB... and the QB who wets himself like a baby in big games and big moments.

I dont trust this team for any guaranteed wins.
See the jets game as proof.

The Cowboys need to win against elite teams. They can’t expect to hide from good teams once the playoffs start. Win and you’re in. They can afford a loss or two to those teams but they need to finish strong so it doesn’t matter what the Eagles do.

Am I reading the schedule right?

The Eagles have a home game, then a bye, then two more home games? Not leaving town for a month?

Also, don't forget we earned a 1st place schedule after last year's finish.

Regardless, we just have to win more games than they do the rest of the way. The NFC East is our only realistic way in.

Just be glad the nfce has sucked for a long time it works in our favor lol

We still have three more division games and extremely winnable matchups against the Bills, Vikings, Lions, and even the mortal Rams at home.

We control our own destiny. Not the Eagles. As much as I hate Garrett, I'll use a Garrettism and suggest that we control what we can control.

Falcons are 1-7 with one win against the Eagles. Neither of these teams should be trusted based on this season.

Any given Sunday, it’s just logical to jump two months ahead and say anything is a “guarantee”.
Yep, see jets as an example of that!

I think giants or Commanders beat philly a bass Dallas wins as well. I see them losing to Seattle and the Patriots. That's at least 4 more losses and I see them losing a game they shouldn't, perhaps the urge division game. Dallas needs 9-7 and beating philly the second time and they win the division. Stop getting caught up on common opponent records, you have head to head, division and conference records first

If we have to beat the Eagles in Philly, we will do it, don't worry.

Further, we are a better team than the Vikings, Bills and Lions. All these three games are AT OUR HOME, too. We got the Rams at home as well after a 10 day rest, I believe. If the Cowboys can somehow clog the run, they are set to beat all of these teams.

You overestimate the Eagles and underestimate the Cowboys.
