Seriously....put down the Britney Spears and listen to some real music :D

I've gotten over Brittney. I mean sure, she used to be awesome, but somewhere along the line she just lost it.

CrazyTrain is the one Ozzy song i cant stand and everyone loves it, I guess its just too overplayed for me.

The new 4 disc boxset prince of darkness is pretty good though.

I love it because of Randy Rhoads. On Mister Crowley is where he really just awes you though.

Here's a mix that considers only songs that made it to #1 on the Billboard charts. Most (but not all) were #1 for several weeks.

I recognize that my choice from the 1990's may be controversial, but I like big ballads and I can not lie, you other brothers can't deny ...

Nominees from the 1950’s

Rock Around the Clock – Bill Haley and His Comets
Heartbreak Hotel – Elvis Presley
Johnny B. Goode – Chuck Berry
All Shook Up – Elvis Presley
At the Hop – Danny and the Juniors

Nominees from the 1960’s

Runaway - Del Shannon
I Want to Hold Your Hand - The Beatles
(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction - The Rolling Stones
I'm a Believer - The Monkees
Hey Jude - The Beatles
Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In - The Fifth Dimension

Nominees from the 1970’s

Joy to the World - Three Dog Night
American Pie - Don McLean
Night Fever - Bee Gees
My Sharona - The Knack

Nominees from the 1980’s

Call Me - Blondie
Every Breath You Take - The Police
Billie Jean - Michael Jackson
We Are the World - USA for Africa
Sledgehammer - Peter Gabriel
With or Without You - U2

Only 1 nominee from the 1990’s

Baby Got Back - Sir Mix-a-Lot

Just scanned the top 100. They sure do like the old stuff. Didn't really see one song in there I care much for.

Wow. I find that absolutely incomprehensible. Out of morbid curiosity, what would your top 20 songs of all time include?

In the spirit of the board, I am going to accuse you of having a McCartney agenda. McCartney apologist!

Now now...I also have Come Together and Twist and Shout...

You should have also called me a Lennon Hater...which would be about as far from the truth as possible.

:)

Uh...Drive My Car...Get Back...Junior's Farm...Hi Hi Hi...Let Me Roll It..

Now I'm pushing it... :D

Btw, I really liked your list.
