The eye test tells you this team isn’t as good as Philly or SF

Football is frustrating. One week you’re beating a 8-1 team on the road 40-3. A couple of weeks later you’re barely beating an inferior team. We don’t know what’s ahead. But we got a chance.
Biggest beef with this team......
It's like a roller coaster ride being a fan of this team.

I spent 25 years in the eyeglass business.

You would be shocked to find out how many people thought they had perfect vision until they put on glasses for the first time after receiving an eye test from the doctor.

You don't realize that your eyes are lying to you until you put on the glasses and see what you never even realized you were supposed to see.

That is, if the eye test was conducted by someone trained in that area. When the test is self-administered, you were treated by an amateur.

Your eye test in reference to the Dallas Cowboys comes from a perspective that is spontaneous and limited to the events of today. The real eye test comes on Christmas Eve.
The game today does not give me a lot of confidence for the egirls game.

Yeah i'm not buying your "eye test". 49ers and Eagles are playing better football than Dallas. I'll concede that. But IMO, neither team has played teams as good as Dallas.

I'm not as impressed by the 9ers as others are. Purdy is too much of a unknown for me to fear the 9ers though I know he has a stacked team around him. Trusting our O against their D though....that's going to be tough.

I think that's the NFL though. People say it all the time but the league is full of parity. If we are being honest with ourselves....these are all NFL players. They are the most gifted players in the NFL and they are playing for money just like the Cowboys are.
How they beat the Vikings by 40 is beyond me but they just lost to the Lions. They have their own issues there.

I know for me I see a Eagles team beating up on inferior competition. And maybe the Cowboys fit that too. But at their place we were a Dak Prescott away from winning that game. Hell if Rush was even his average self the game should've been closer and winnable.

Truth.
I guess I miss the early 90s Cowboys teams.

Now could anything happen in a 1 game playoff absolutely but the eagles and the Niners are just better teams..

Disagree.

Too easy to forget... amazingly easy, actually... just how close PHI came to losing to our last two opponents.

Jags are going to be a tough game. They're gaining confidence, they're playing at home, and their opponent has its irrefutable game of the year on the other side of their match-up. And their opponent is going to be missing some key players.

But if we dispose of the Jags, I feel the wind's at our back when PHI makes their Christmas Eve visit.

And these guys can say what they want but its tough for these guys to get up and play a piss poor team. You see a one win team come in....its Sunday 12.......you just want to get the W and go. Not an excuse but I think you will see a much better game against the Eagles than you saw today against the Texans.

Their 10th win by the way.

They barely got it. We better enjoy it because Jacksonville won’t be a push over and it’s going to get real tough after them.

We better hope the Lions make the playoffs here’s why. They match up really good vs the Vikings and I’d give them a really good chance at beating them (2nd seed vs 7th). They’d then play Philly and who knows what would happen they played week one and lost 38-35. But we’d probably play Carolina/ TB and if we could get past them get the winner of SF/ Wash.

It seems the Niners play all their tough games at home and they haven't played a true road game since Oct. 30th.o_O What is that all about? How do you go almost two months without playing on the road?
