The 49ers have lost 4 games. The Cowboys are 10 and 3.

LoL, what an irrelevant stat. How many wins did the Niners have last season? And where did our 12-5 season take us? Not saying they are currently better than us. But wins have nothing to do with it. Just make it into to playoffs and then it's a whole new ballgame anyway.

You guys will never learn. Season starts in January.

I want SF in the first round. They will toughen up our run defense, make us take care of the ball, and lose. I say that, because we will want revenge for last year's loss. And we loss last year due to our defense struggling to stop the run, while our offense turn the ball over. So this year we will clean up those mistakes and win the ball game.

Stopping the run and taking care of the ball, is what we want this team to be doing in the playoffs. SF will set us straight.

Hey I get it, it’s easier to throw in the towel and say some teams are better than the Cowboys. It saves you the misery in case they lose in the playoffs. I think the Cowboys are as talented as any team and teams are not going to want to play them. So I’m not giving up. I’ve seen the early 90’s SB Cowboys stink it up for several games. They didn’t throw in the towel believing other teams are better.

Absolutely! Those 90s team had several stinkers. I remember a loss to Washington that completely ruined my week. Or, the Eagles game - yuck.
I also remember thinking, there is no way that we are going to beat the 49ers - they were a machine. Or the young Favre guy, he is going to go off on us.

I think by now most people should realize that the Bucs are not good. They are 6-7 for a reason. We will beat them in the first round.

If Dak has a good game we beat the 49ers. The Eagles are going to be tough. Picking up Suh, and the other guy to go along with getting Quinn and getting Jordan back? They're going to get Dallas Goddard who was the middle of their offense, and their NFL leading interception artist Gardner Johnson back that team is stacked with a load of draft picks. They are going to be good for a while and we need to adjust to that fast. I suspect we're going to play them 2 more times this year one here, and there.

What was the “eye test” when the 49ers lost by 14 to the falcons? Or when the niners lost to the broncos? How did the eagles look against the colts when they won 17-16? A colts team we beat by 35. Does that mean the eye test says we will beat the eagles by 34?

Be careful with eye tests in the NFL.

I saw us go to Philly and have the game at 17-20 in the 4th with the backup QB throwing 3 picks. We held them to 286 yards of total offense.

At home I believe we beat them.

They also built up a lead on us and started to coast until we came back. That can't happen again if we're going to beat them. They need to get punched in the nose early and play at their tempo.

Stop crying. Pickup your bootstraps, get better and take it a week at a time. All you are doing is setting yourself up just in case we are one and done meaning you have no faith in our team. Why even watch the games then? Why are you on this forum if you think our season is done? Get out of here dude with that defeatist mentality.

I know, the recency bias is unbelievable. Until this game we had been winning pretty handily. Philly struggled for 3 straight weeks before playing the Titans.

Now all the sudden we are super inconsistent and Philly is the same dominant team every week.

The truth lies in the middle, and we have another month of football to see who actually goes into the playoffs with consistency.

I like us this year to make it to NFC Championship at home against the 49ers!! I believe the Eagals look like we did in 2016 and will get knocked out in the Divisional. Both the Shegals and the 49ers can be had if we don't beat ourselves because we can challenge them offensively and hold our own defensively if we could just get out of our own way.We will take our show on the road with no pressure of playing at home and that's where we are at our best.
