Why does Turner have Humphrey as strong safety? He's not going to play safety.

Peppers was toasted at an incredible rate in coverage.
Peppers is an R1 athlete and all-around player but he is not a good safety on tape, yet.

His athleticism alone means he's better than a 4th round safety. This is just a guy trying to out think himself here. I could understand saying Peppers might be a 2nd round guy but 4th? LOL.

it's not one guy. it's 3 led by an actual former NFL scout.
they aren't saying Peppers is not worth a higher pick, they are grading him out purely as safety on his safety tape.
and he was very good coming forward but he basically played LB last year and was very, very poor in coverage.
peppers may well learn the position and be a pro bowler but it's not on tape yet.

Draft boards can also be radically different from scout to scout and team to team. Good example, Jonathan Banks was a high 2nd round pick in 2013. We had him rated as a 6th rounder on the leaked board
