I think with BP in the first four games, BP wanted to protect his D, he wanted a ball control offense so his D wasnt on the field alot.(a problem last year).

He also wanted to protect Bledsoe, let's not forget that last year at the begging we were pass happy, and were like top 5 in offense, then Vinny's arm began to fail, and so did our season. BP doesnt want that to happen with Bledsoe

What we saw the first four games was, can our D hold people while our offense scores, either slow or fast. and in the fourth quarter our D has. then you had bledsoe telling BP you can bet, that he could handle it, he can pass, and he'll be fine at the end of the year.

So against the eagles BP said fine, let's see what our team got. against the best team in the NFC BP wanted answer to questions

Can our OL protect Bledsoe (0 sacks)

Can our OL open up hles for the RB, after 4 games of not doing so (150+yards rushing)

Can our D stop teams, and force 3 and outs (6 total first downs...i think)

Can our D keep people out of the endzone, no matter where they getthe ball ( 3 points allowed)

If our team, can keep doing these things. and Bledose cans tay healthy and not make mistakes, you will contnue to see this gameplan untill somebody stops us.

good post. I agree with the entire thing. I see the sky as the limit if we play every game like we did Sunday. I dont care what people say, mcflbb has played well while being injured in the previous weeks. We stopped them!!! Plain and simple. t.o. had 5 for 50 and no td's!! They had the same defense theyve had all year, and maybe the SB, and we killed it........you cant tell me BP isnt pleased, and he will continue to use this approach in the games to come, especially division games.

BTW the key to beating the eagles, is TO. Westbrook is threat but if you put a CB on him, he is renedered usless, TO is the target take him our and they lose(ATL, and DAL, had no TD's, agasint ATL had yards no TD's they lost.)

I was surprised as well when I looked at the game stats, I knew Dallas had man handled the eagles but when I saw the numbers I was a bit shocked at how well we did in all areas of the game. Another encouraging number Dallas only had 5 penalties in the game; I'll take that any day of the week.
