Simple answer - recency bias.Staubach, Dorsett, and Drew Pearson?
Bradshaw, Swann, and Franco?
Elway, Smith, Davis?
How can at least one of these trios not make that list?

Not sure if he's ranking these..........coz Big Ben, AB and Bell should be 4th or 5th

I agree. #3 might have been the best of all three for one season but didn’t have the longevity of #4 and #2.I’d move #4 to #1, leave #2 and the rest is all debatable. Not a bad list though.

It’s a shame, but that’s how it goes. You’re only respected throughout the lifespan not what you did for me yesterday. OJ.Wonder how many news outlets will be associating Antonio Brown solely with that #1 trio assignment and franchise per recent events?

I take Bradshaw Stallworth and Franco over themAs football players the Pitt trio deserves their credit but they are no where near #1.
I'm not there's a HOF legend more disrespected than Terry Bradshaw...........I wonder whyI take Bradshaw Stallworth and Franco over them
My first thought was how upset the Daksters were going to be because their hero was left off the list.Wait...why isn't Dak-Deuce Vaughn-and George Pickens on there?
HATERS !!!!!!
Likely this article related to a bias Pittsburgh Steelers writer ..?Wonder how many news outlets will be associating Antonio Brown solely with that #1 trio assignment and franchise per recent events?
I find the objective credibility of 'MLFootball' to be practically zero. Nonetheless, I was loosely referring to how the sports media/social media identify former players to their past teams in terms of negative news stories.Likely this article related to a bias Pittsburgh Steelers writer ..?
Bell & Brown are not even Hall of Famers.. and yet they make the all time NFL top 5 trio ..?![]()
For whatever reason, I hadn't even thought of Elway, Smith, and Davis. I was too young to have actually watched your first two trios actually play a full game and don't feel comfortable evaluating their place based solely on highlights and reputation. But I'd definitely kick the Rothlisberger, Brown, Bell trio off the list and put the Broncos one on there.Staubach, Dorsett, and Drew Pearson?

In New England, they just mention his name they don’t mention him being a former player to any particular teamI find the objective credibility of 'MLFootball' to be practically zero. Currently, Antonio Brown is wanted on an attempted murder charge. I was curious whether news outlets, especially local news outlets, would report the ongoing story identifying Brown as a former Pittsburgh Steelers player only. Or mention him as a New England Patriot and/or Tampa Bay Buc also.
